When will fans learn to stop over hyping power punchers? How many times do yall have to see a power puncher face C level and below fighters get super hype from media and fans to face a true elite fighter just to get embrassed for 12 rounds? I know we live in a "what have to done for me lately society" but this Golovkin hype and love is just ****ing lame and uncalled for.

Ward vs. Golovkin would be a worse beating that Calzghe vs Lacy.

Deal with the top guy at MW, then think about Ward.

I love GGG, but Ward picks him apart.

I'd rather see GGG take on some more top middleweights first, although if he lost to Ward in spirited fashion, it would do nothing but raise his stock with me, because I believe SOG is P4P #1.

This is where I say you're wrong bro. From what I've seen from GGG, he's got some serious skills in that ring. He's not a one dimensional power puncher as you describe. He picks his opponents apart, knows how to place his punches, knows how to cut the ring off, and I think is a terror for somebody who thinks they're going to run around the ring winning rounds through compubox stats staying away from him. On the contrary, I think his hand speed and tremendous power will make Ward realize that this is a battle he's going to have to dig deep down for the win. This ain't going to be a Chavez/Martinez type of fight.

If you truly feel what you said, remember my name and put your points on the line if they do sign a contract to fight eachother.

GGG not ready for Ward...you fans can continue to pretend to yourself like he but you see that GGG is not really pursuing Ward right now either

If Ward was to fight him right now and beat him then most of you would be saying "WELL GGG HAVEN'T FOUGHT ANYBODY"

Ward is the Top P4P Fighter and he already cleaned out his Division...GGG is chasing Ward it is not Ward job to chase GGG

I totally understand fans being excited about GGG and they should be because he is a good fight but he haven't been in the ring with a fighter anywhere close to being as good as Ward

Talk about Ward vs GGG after GGG has cleaned out 160 and is looking around for an opponent like Ward is doing right now

+1 Golovkin needs to campaign at 160 and prove himself to be the best in that division especially now it seems he'll be able to start getting those fights. If he remains undefeated after going through several of the top MW's in the next 12-18 months then people can start talking about it.

Ward has bigger paydays at 160 than 175

Ward is stressed out. He has no one at 168 to fight and he doesn't want to move up yet and it's gonna hard to get certain guys to fight him from the 160 pound division.

Ward wouldn't box Golovkin like he would Chavez, he would smother and maul Golovkin to a decision.

As much as I give GGG a good chance against Ward, I will actually agree with you all in that, although he's got a good chance, he's not deserving of a fight at Ward's level. He needs to get some names under his belt.
