Golovkin's team would have to be completely ******ed to let him fight Ward any time soon. Going from fighting semi-bums to a guy that's p4p #1 or 2, at a higher weight class, would be ridiculous.

IF he unifies the MW division, has a couple of impressive title defenses and Ward is still at SMW, then they can start THINKING about it. Until then... No, just... No.

And oh, I'm a fan of Golovkin.

GGG is the new Chavez Jr. on boxingscene. Don't look for logic. Remember, The Smash called the scoring of Martinez v Chavez the biggest robbery in the history of boxing. I am a fan of Golovkin but the hype has gone off the chain

Anyways, ggg is too small for 168 and Ward is too good and a bad matchup for him.
