Yes, great point. He gassed terribly in those fights that he won by stoppage...

But why didn't he kill any of the scrubs he fought, except fragile Andy Lee, and Manfredo lol?

And I caught in another post you called Rubio "elite"

I can agree that Macklin and Barker gave Martinez problems. But I will also say that Martinez wasnt fighting like his normal self in those fights. He didnt get back to beating ass, until he got in their with Chavez who was a cw.

Martinez is a much more well rounded fighter than Rosado, who is a bumio.

Yet the consensus what that he would outbox Chavez, because Chavez was a "Bum"

Sergio would likely beat Golovkin's ass, you don't need to make stuff up to make that pitch. It sells itself.
The reason Martinez would win, is because GGG has problems with defensive moves. As seen in the Rosado fight. I dont have to make up anything. Martinez is my favorite fighter, but Im not biased for him. I see things my way, you things your way. No big dealio!

Bernard just cherrypicks guys at the right time. He was in a weak division.

He can gas against Rosado and Ouma, but if he gasses against Martinez he DIES . Simple as that.

By the 8th round GGG will be completely disfigured and gassing out while Martinez hits his second wind and stops him anywhere from round 9 through 12.

Watch how Golovkin gasses late in the fight, the same thing happened when he fought Rosado where he started to gas from the fifth round on.

Martinez usually gets a second wind late in fights:
If GGG gassed late against Ouma then how come he scored a late stoppage?

I think what you mean is he gasses in the middle rounds which could be true but so does Martinez.

Also you need to take into account the fact that GGG is improving technically and gaining more experience while Martinez is getting older. Dude is pushing 40 and has a dodgy knee. GGG will not fight a peak Martinez.

Because Chavez didnt start getting good until a few fights before Martinez. He had two great opponents in Rubio and Andy Lee. And Im not sure if I dared called Rubio elite. It was a step up in opposition, but he wasnt elite.

But the comparison in size between Chavez and Martinez, is enough to amaze me how Martinez walked him down. Martinez is a beast. I dont see anyone beating him.
