When ur too big for the weight class, you can kill everyone with one clean shot. Martinez being so tough, was able to take plenty, and get up when the going got really tough. Martinez is DAT DUDE!!

    • Samson is just taking a jab at Quillin because around the time Quillin was doing is who is Serigo Martinez bit, he turned down a fight with Martinez.

Quillin will probably end up fighting Jermaine Taylor down the line, IMO. but he is a Haymon fighter so who knows.

personally I think Martinez vs Golovkin is in the works.

GGG was just on a card co promoted by DiBella and if GGG fights Macklin you know it will be for a shot at Sergio Martinez.

I think what Martinez does really depends on Chavez. Roach wants him to move up and he's better suited at 168. Ward vs Chavez would be a great fight. Ward is probably a better opponent for Chavez. so if Chavez moves up to fight Ward I'm pretty sure Martinez will fight Golovkin.

I think Geale is going probably fight Soliman and probably a Sturm rematch, those are his big money fights. HBO is really pushing Golovkin and it looks like Arum and DiBella are helping so I'd expect something big.

I'm just glad GGG is getting a push because I'd like to see Martinez vs Golovkin than Chavez vs Martinez 2, for me that fight can wait.

GGG just cant deal with the slick style. Thats the reason he was having problems when Rosado did fight back. Based on that, I dont see him being able to last more than a couple of rounds with Sergio.

I don't know HOW you are possibly nitpicking Hopkins who has the record for title defenses at MW even though King REFUSED to give him any big fights in the mid-90s, sets the record anyways, and moved up to take on the recognized 175 lb champ Tarver, Wright, and fought Joe Calzaghe, Pavlik, Pascal 2x and Dawson 2x and Cloud, all over age 40. What the fck dude.
Yea but he fought Tarver at the right time. He fought Pascal and Cloud because they are small square fighters. He was actually forced to fight Dawson, both times. But again, I already told u, I still say he's an ATG. I just see the clever way he did it. You keep saying the same thing, this will just go in circles bro.

I never said Rosado was more well rounded, I just said his defense was more fundamentally sound. If you don't understand it's ok, just say so, no need to laugh like a troll and embarass yourself.

Most said, Lee would win. Martinez walked that big joker down too. And dared to fight on the inside. I dont see nobody beating Martinez at mw! Sorry.
Why do you keep repeating this? Lee never beat a top ten opponent, got stopped by Vera, went life and death with powderpuff McEwen, and in his last fight was getting pressured and beat up by a 13-3 clubfighter.

When should he have fought tarver? after he lost to Jones ? Or after he lost to Harding...orr....?

However, he was clearly being beaten down by the better man throughout the entire fight, and that means he wasn't outboxing ****, he was just using his skill to slow down the inevitable beatdown before his face finally caved in. Golovkin's amateur career alone makes him a more qualified opponent for Martinez than most anyone in the division, and whether or not he beats Martinez, he's much more deserving of the opportunity than Chavez (who is not nearly as good a pressure fighter Golovkin is).
There, you said it. GGG has problems with skilled fighters. And I dont care about what GGG did in the AMS. This is the pros. Chavez didnt deserve a fght, but he was the biggest name/draw, and had the belt. GGG has to earn a fight with Quillin and Macklin. After that, he has to earn a fight with Chavez. Then he can earn a fight with Martinez.

LOL, Golovkin did not have any problem at all with Rosado. He had one round where he didn't complete kill him, that doesn't qualify as trouble.

Sergio would likely beat Golovkin's ass, you don't need to make stuff up to make that pitch. It sells itself.
