No body is having easy fights at that age, if he makes it look easy, it's due to his intelligence, technique, and experience.
I DO give him credit. BUT NO one thought he would lose to Cloud who is smaller, and a horrible squared up fighter. With that being said, I STILL give him credit. Just saying if Cloud was a bit better, Bhop wouldnt have even fight him. Only people who dont know boxing thought he would lose. I felt it was going to be like the Pascal rematch.

He did stay at a weak division and fight a bunch of smaller guys. Made them come up in weight. But they were STILL legit opponents. He still gets credit.

Bull**** go read old posts half of the people thought Cloud would KO Bhop and he was too old.

But it will be hilarious when Martinez fights GGG (if he is still relevant)
Half of the people saying he ducks will probably cry

I was not agreeing I was actually being sarcastic. Because I can't agree with something that simply isn't true. Bhop fought the best super middleweight in Calzaghe many thought Pavlik was going to win. He fought Chad who many claimed was the best light heavyweight. He fought Pascal who is no easy out and he beats a young strong and in his prime fighter in Cloud. Who many thought would be to strong for the old man.

I believe that any knowledgeable boxing fan would agree that is pretty good resume for any fighter much less one that is close to AARP eligibility. You also keep talking about Bhop's supposed size advantage. You make it sound as if he has a Chavez Jr type advantage. When in reality he is a nature middleweight and is not a very big light heavyweight. I believe the fact that he hasn't stopped anyone in his last 15 fights goes along way in proving that.

I have also asked you if not for those fighters who should he have been fighting and you have yet to come up with an answer. And you keep saying it over and over that he has fought legit opponents but he doesn't have a legit resume. I have to ask how can that possibly even make any sense?

But I guess it can to someone who claims that they know boxing. Than questions the resume of a future Hall of Fame fighter and than states that Andy Lee is a legit fighter all in the same thread. I am done.

I do wish he would fight Ward but as long as he gets credit...I can't complain. he is a smart guy and if he used circumstances to his advantage...well, then he did. I see the same kind of traits in a guy like Ward too honestly, wanting guys to move up, move down, fight in grandma's backyard, etc. I guess if you can get away with it, then take it while it's there. It is worthy of complaint though.

I leave sarcastic posts here and there....lol, can't help it at times, it's the NSB way and all. Truly though, I will always back Sergio and I don't think there is anyone out there who can beat him if he is on his game (within reason, no cruisers, lhws, ww's, etc.) People love to call him a "ducker" until he takes that fight....then it's on to excuses as to why he won and didn't look good doing it, lol.

He's not a small light heavyweight, but he's not a huge one either. At middleweight he was also about average for the weight.

Thats one thing I can say about some people here, is that they dont know boxing. Pascal and Cloud are basically the same. Both bums, and squared up fighters. Anyone who knew boxing, knew Cloud was too little, with no skills.

No he was forced to fight Chad. Yea he did fight Pascal, but he fought him because he knew his skills were limited. Same as Cloud.

And your STILL saying the same thing about how you feel Bhop has a good resume. We ALREADY AGREED that he DOES have a good resume. But it was carefully structured.

As far as his size advantage, size doesnt win fights. Its a combination of size and style. Bhop knows what he's doing in fighting smaller squared up bum fighters.

Even though Ward is smaller, ironically Hoppa-Poppa wants no part in it.

And your still confusing yourself. Not once have I EVER said, "He fought legit opponents, but he doesnt have a legit resume." That doesnt even make sense, and everything I say makes sense. I said he DID fight legit opponents. He DOES have a legit resume. It was just CAREFULLY structured. Staying in weak divisions instead of moving up, making smaller guys jump up in weight etc. When he was fighting little Oscar, YEA it was a legit opponent. But that asterisk is still there. Oscar had to move up to fight him.

And Andy Lee IS a legit opponent for Chavez Jr. Now when Bhop goes to cherrypick that caliber of opponent, then it probably wont be so legit huh?
