No he wasnt. He is too big. WAAAY too big. He was only intimidated by the speed. And when its his turn to fight going backwards, he ran because he didnt want to get hit. Not because he was hurt. Martinez is waay too small, and even when he busted Chavez face, Chavez didnt care. No one at mw can hurt him, if Martinez cant.

Judging by the look on his face and the fact that he had a broken orbital, I'd say he was hurt. He would never have blocked at all or just walked through him from the gitgo if he wasn't feeling anything. A swarm of gnats doesn't hurt, a swarm of yellow jackets does though. Dude isn't going to suddenly realize that punches don't hurt in the 11th or 12th round. He opened up because a KO was his only choice to win at that point.

Thats a twist. Your the first person to say that, but okay maybe that will work. Im not trying to discred Hop, Im just pointing out that he is strategic with his career. He aint fighting Ward. He been trying t buddy up to him for years, so he could manipulate him into thinking that just cuz they friends, that they shouldnt fight. Ward is slowly starting to get wise about whatsa' been going on.

I do wonder why he is not keen on fighting Ward, lol. Pascal was a LHW and so was Dawson though and Cloud. I can't say those weren't legit to give him credit.

I said earlier that he got busted up, but he doesnt feel the pain. He just doesnt care. Martinez is a TREMENDOUS puncher, and Chavez wasnt even phased. And the whole fight he showboated that the punches didnt hurt. It wasnt bravado. That guy is WAAAY too huge for Martinez. He opened up, and just started trying to aim while getting hit. Not once did he think twice once he realized that Martinez was too small.

No they were legit, absolutely. They were just easy for him to beat because of their square style. Dawson on the other hand, he ducked for 3 yrs. He was forced to fight him due to that step aside contract. He faked the injury to get out of the fight, then he was forced to do the rematch. Its no mystery why he wont fight Ward. Just like Chad, there is no chance of him winning. But NO one can make him fight Ward. He just not gonna do it.

They should go for Geale first. Not that I think Martinez can't beat GGG, but Geale can't punch, he has better wins than GGG and has 2 belts Sergio has never had in his collection.

Hop didn't want to fight him? He fought him twice Pascal is a good fighter, better than Dawson and proved it in the ring
