Golovkin and Chavez Jr. would be impressive wins for Ward simply because of their styles.

If you have seen Donaire's left hook at 115 to 122, just imagine how much more powerful it would be at 147 or 168. If Donaire lands his left hook on Mayweather or Ward, its lights out and over.

Ward is #1 for clearing out a great 168 division, and doing so in dominant fashion. But rankings are based on what you've done lately - in that regard I already have Nonito at #2 above Floyd and/or tied with Martinez for #2. Floyd, great he may be, but just not active enough. In that same regard of what have you done lately, I say Nonito overtakes the number 1 spot with a Rigondeaux win, because neither Ward nor Floyd could compare with any win in the last year...thus far...and in terms of skill, maybe even their entire careers if you think as highly of Rigondeaux as I do.

But there's still a great fight to be had, and I think it's a tossup.

Yeah for me I reward fighters that fight alot because the more you fight the more chance your putting yourself into losing. In order for Floyd to get to #1 status, he needs to fight Pacquiao and prove to all of us he's better than the Pacman. In Ward's defense he was scheduled to fight Kelly Pavlik but unfortunately Pavlik had to retire.

Yup since they have been knocked down so many times in their career. It is a certainty....LOL
