He's already been charged by the Queens DA, NY charges, does that not make this a local case? He's being prosecuted locally, end of story. I just want to know when this fool will start serving and if it will be after 5/4.

When John Forte got caught with 10 kilos at the airport what body prosecuted him? When what his name got caught at the airport with weed glued to his water bottles label, who threw the case out? If it happens within an airport in this country (from tarmac to the edge of the curb) it's a federal case. The state can announce all the charges it wants, the final say is with the ATF and federal prosecutors.

I'm calling bullshhh on that one..I live in NYC. The only time your case gets transferred to the city from the bronx is if its a high profile case. Big azz courthouses on 161st will gladly have you otherwise...I know i've been there.

I have had a few hours to think about this and I am amazed that Guerrero would do something this ****** and risk the fight of his dreams and a payday of 5 to 10 million dollars. Leave the gun at home or send it home with your luggage. Oscar can probably get him out of this mess but maybe he can't. He will be given his first court date 2-4 months from now. He will get locked up for sure. It won't be for at least 8-12 months.

D.A. can file the charges he wants..the fact is it happened on federal ruled property...so the final say is with the feds and don't expect Guerrero's guys to not want it to be federal because it offers their defense a bunch of loop holes out.
