Will Matthysse knock Peterson out?

This is another reason i dont really see Lucas stopping Peterson. Everybody is expecting him to run at Lucas but i see Peterson being very cautious and fighting lucas like he fought Ortiz and not like he fought Khan or Holt

People are expecting Peterson to just exchange and get into a brawl, but he isnt that dumb, he will be trying to box Lucas

How long do you expect him to employ that strategy?

Have they decided who's doing the testing yet? Peterson said recently that he want's VADA for all his fights, but I can't imagine Schaefer is going to stand for that. What if somebody's on drugs? The fight might actually be stopped.

Why do people hold it against Matthysse for not stopping Judah and Alexander? Judah's been stopped but never by anything less than the elite, and Alexander has never been stopped. Not to mention how negatively they both fought against Matthysse.

Well for one....he has a lot of fans on this site that talk about Matthysse like he'd kill everyone in the history of the world and rip their f**king heads off....and they talk like this after he beats Soto and Dallas.

Matthysse is good, had a fight that could have gone either way with Judah in my opinion, and he deserved the W over Alexander. But the two best fighters he's faced, he didn't really steam roll them at all, like many of his fans say he'll do to just about anyone now days.

I hope so, but honestly I think this is a 50/50 fight. It will probably be a close decision to the winner.

I think Matthysse is a pretty bad dude. I do expect him to win via stoppage- but if he doesn't then I'll have to concede that he might not be as good as I currently think he is against the top tier. But as of right now I expect him to win his next 3 fights and scoop up a bunch of titles.

I know Matt's has a lot of fans on this forum,but I really don't see Peterson being KO'd(although anything is possible,it is boxing)...What I'm interested in,is how Matt's will deal with Peterson's body attack and the physical strength of Peterson..It will be like none he has had to handle before..

I think this will be a great fight that hears the final bell..

I suppose you didn't see what Provodnikov did to Bradley coming either did you? Just saying.

Peterson isn't light on his feet. Once Matthysse cuts the ring off he will put his high guard up and Matthysse will punish that body like there's no tomorrow. Matthysse is on a war path and the belt is right there.

He absolutely steam rolled Ajose, no matter what Ajose tried there was only one outcome that night. It's why i think a determined Matthysse will do the same to Peterson.
