Ooookkay......lets look at their best wins and what those guys did.

      Waldo-

      Byrd: beat Vits (a), Tua (b), Holy(b-), Golota(b-), McCline(c+)

Looking at his best wins and when he beat them B-

      Lewis: Vits (a+), Holy (a-), Tua (a-), Tyson (b+), Ruddock (a-)

Looking at his best wins when he beat them A-

Pretty simple rally. Wlad is a full grade lower considering when they fought their best fight, who they beat before and after.

You listed Byrd's wins, not Wlad's so I don't really get what you did in there.
          Here is my input...

I'll grade every win with grade from 1 to 10 (10 being the highest).

          1. Vitali (10) - I take this as the best victory among the two. Vitali is the best fighter either of them fought (although I don't take that as Vitali's prime he was near it - he needed the experience) - taking into account the time when Lennox fought Tyson and Holyfield. Although I think this is Lennox's best victory by far he didn't look convincing doing it. But full credit here.

          2. Byrd (9) - Byrd was beaten twice by Wlad. Very convincingly both times. He was in his very prime. Byrd was a very good fighter - HOF in my book. He beat many HOF/ATG (not all in their primes, but still).

          3. Haye (8) - Although he didn't do much in HW, he was a champion, he was pretty much unbeaten (at least at HW). I never doubted he is an extremely good fighter. The speed and power he has is something that you don't see often in HW. He might been the fastest (or one of the fastest) HW ever. Very very good win for Wlad.

          4. Holyfiled (7) - Holyfiled is ATG - fantastic fighter. My issue here is time when Lennox fought him. He was way past it. He lost 7 years prior to that, and was TKOed 4 years prior to that by fighter who I rank well below Lewis. Furthermore he lost to Ruiz a year after Lennox beat him. I can't give it more here - Holyfiled was well past it. People called him to retire 4 years prior he fought Lennox.

          5. Tua (6) - I give Lennox a good credit for beating Tua. Tua was an excellent and dangerous fighter.

          6. Ruddock (5) - He was a very good fighter. But as very often he was already beaten coming into Lennox fight. Many say he was 'tyson's leftover'. I don't agree. Taking that into account he is number 6.

          7. Peter (first fight - 4) - I know many don't rate Peter highly. But the version Wlad beat was an animal - unbeaten, strong as an ox. He pretty muck KOed everyone going into that fight. He was in his very prime. After the fight he didn't live up to hype, but he did beat Toney twice (well past prime Toney).

          8. Ibragimov (3) - Again unbeaten fighter, champion, beat some good although past prime fighters. Nevertheless is a good win.

          9. Bruno (2) - Although he lost a few times coming to fight Lennox, he was a very good fighter.

          10. TT -1st fight (1) - Many don't give him credit, but he is a big, skillful, southpaw. Very tricky to fight. In his prime, he was very good. One need to see their first fight if there is a doubt. He pretty much lost only to one man in his whole career. Beating big 6.8 HW young, prime, contender at 41 tells something too.

Wlad's wins over Byrd is equal to Lewis' wins over Briggs/Bruno at most.

Other than that, Vitali was in his absolute prime. Holyfield that fought Lewis > Haye and especially Byrd. Wins over Ruddock, Briggs, Tua, Bruno, Holyfield, Vitali, Mercer all rank over Peter I (IMO). Peter was extremely limited, however I will give Wlad probs for getting off the canvas three times and still win.

Where is Eddie Chambers on this list? For me he ranks higher than TT on Wlad's wins. And so does Chagaev.

More likely Tunny's alt collection is running a bit low right now :hahahaha9:

Wladimir is now the same age as Lewis at retirement, not sure there is much between them h2h. Lewis's best 'win' is Vitali but it wasn't a clean win or a decisive one, after that you're looking at decisions vs a past it Holyfield or the faded Tyson KO. Wlad's two Byrd stoppages are as good as that. Add in Haye and Ibragimov and there is nothing much between them. Wlad is the cleaner puncher, Lewis more skilled in the dark arts as Vitali found out.
