Well, this is kinda disappointing. Wilder will get no credit for beating Audley even tho its a step up. Thompson on the other hand is coming off a KO win.

Audley will get sparked out within 2 rounds. But he's like a bad fungus that keeps coming back. He'll win the prizefighter again next year and get himself another fight or 2 off it.It's a cycle with him.

Funny thing is Audley Harrison is a step up in level from the guys Wilder has been fighting

harrison would be the best opponent wilder has faced to this point. even martin rogan would be better then anyone on wilder's resume. his best wins are over manswell & beck which isn't saying much.manswell can crack a little but beck has been done for years now. harrison or rogan is a good choice in my opinion.

Americans are suddenly "bored" with a sport when they can no longer dominate it.....see heavyweight boxing for one good example.

Winning is never boring, and the K-Bros are winners. You can bet if they were Americans the word "boring" would seldom be heard about them.

Typical Earl Hickey hating on dis kat before the fight has even been signed. Listen, Audley Harrison was written off years ago (and rightfully so) but he looked reinvigorated in his impressive HW Prizefighter run and he's breathed some life back into his career.

If Wilder had picked Audley as an opponent post Price I would've criticized him (like Earl Hickey loves to do) but Audley looked decent in his performances in Prizefighter.

I like this matchup now. Two tall rangy heavyweights trying to garner contender status going at it? What's there not to like about this?

Not saying Audley has never taken a tough fight because he has, but in this instance I don't think the payday will be high enough for him to take the risk.

I'd rather see Wilder target someone more challenging anyway.

The article states that if Audley doesn't accept the offer, Marty Rogan would be willing to face Wilder. Acceptable opponent?

Audley Harrison, coming off his impressive Prizefighter performances, is the next logical step up for Deontay Wilder right now.

It's good that Deontay has a promoter who keeps him active, some other promising heavyweights like Mike Perez and Bogdan Dinu are not fighting often enough.
