[After watching Audley KO'ed by Price]

Wilder: "Audley is a great guy and he's had a great career but I think that the time has come for him to hang up his gloves and retire."

It wasn't that long ago so it seems kind of cruel of Wilder to now turn around and want to dish out that final KO for good measure as he retires.

Not that bad of a fight I guess, Audley is usually a safe enough measuring stick, always a chance to show up in any fight but he isn't really fighting in the top level of the division so it's not the big leap that TT would be since he had basically just fought for the championship.

I agree - since the Eastern Europeans have been allowed to Box they are dominating the Heavyweight division that's because they are big and athletic and the Heavyweight division ar'nt dominated by the Americans any longer - people think because the Americans are'nt ruling the division they are claiming boring no personalities etc - after Wladimir's last fight who was the guest speaker in the Studio no other than Tim Witherspoon and how he was disrespecting Wladimir was unbelievable saying how the Americans in the 80's would have owned the Klitschko's and wait for this - he said there are Americans coming though who are going to dethrone them- wait it gets even funnier he said his nephew Chazz Witherspoon has the beating of Wladimir the same Chazz who was stopped by Arreola and the same Arreola who was dismantled by Vitali in the States - I rest my case.

That's the American superiority complex right there.

A lot of them are unable to process the fact that the good ol' stars and stripes might, just might not have the god given right to be the best in the world at something.

Audley needs to believe himself for once in a big fight. He talks the talk but he never believes he can beat the difficult opponents.

To be fair though, Frank Maloney was saying the same exact things in that very same interview. I remember distinctly watching it after the Wlad-Wach fight and he made the most tasteless comment I've ever heard when he said that "Wladimir was probably glad Steward died because he doesn't have to pay him now" I'm paraphrasing a bit but that's the jist of what he said. I wanted to reach through my monitor and choke that bastard to death when he said that.

Earl, since when have you become so confrontational and nationalistic? LOL. You never used to be like that back in the days of the talk show.
