was a very close fight ..only had canelo winning by 1 point due to that knockdown.

but i don't think canelo is this superstar boxer or beast that we're being made to believe and it showed last night. his conditioning looked weak (seemed gassed during many parts of the fight), he threw these wide looping right hands, and there are times where he gets into these lulls which could be due to his poor stamina. he still needs a lot of work..but he gets credit for FINALLY stepping in with a legit 154lber. i'd like to see him fight someone like erislandy lara next...

            I scored it for Trout.

Alvarez had the fight won on 2 scorecards after 8 rounds, in a fight that should not have been scored more than a point or two either way. This was rigged for Alvarez to win no matter what happened. That's without even mentioning the open scoring and the impact it had on the fight.

**** Golden Boy, and **** Saul Alvarez.

I finished watching the fight for the first time few minutes ago , I watched it without knowing about result or reading any of the reviews , and I say ( Man , it was a fight between 2 average fighters , one of them has a power and that is all , Alvarez has ZERO foot work , he showed a bit good defense and good power , that is all ! , I scored fight 4-4 after the 7th round " counting the knockdown " and after that Trout was out of the fight . Alvarez has absolute ZERO chance against A level fighters like Mayweather or Martinez ! I even give old Cotto a big chance to win ! )

I want to see Cotto vs Alvarez next , forget about Mayweather fight , it is gonna be embarrassing to the Mexican .

I think it is bad luck for both guys to make their fight after 7 days of Rigo vs Donaire masterpiece .

Oh , I forgot to say ( Scorecards were JOKE ) , Alvarez won a UD , but with a scorecard of
118-109 , I guess the judge was either blind or corrupt .

I re watched the fight and in the 11th round Canelo nails Trout with an uppercut and really stuns Trout and he does not go in for the finish @ all. Idk if he was tired or just playing it safe but I feel like if Canelo really wanted to he could have stopped Trout.

I think the open scorecards play a big factor in the way both fighters fought this fight..I hate it,and wish they would do away with it..It takes away from the fight and the fans..

Kind of sucks when you learn you didn't win a single round on a judges scorecard somehow
