If he is ducking everyone, why is he still #1 pfp on DAMN near everyones list?
Because it is an American product. backed by American mass-media brainwashing. You could write the most ****** novel and if the people are ****** enough to buy it, it will be a best seller. Floyd is boring and a coward and people just want to see him lose. Once he does, he is out.

If Manny hadn't got put to sleep, a fight with Floyd would be the biggest in boxing history. But Manny lost, not Floyd.

Also, how is the hell can Floyd be ducking Manny when Bobbie Arum says Manny has to fight Rios, JMM or Bradley. Also, have you heard Manny call out Floyd lately. Manny ain't saying a thing. It's likely Manny will retire and duck Floyd forever.

Besides, after the KO by JMM, Manny only has two fights left in at most, and Floyd ain't on the menu.

But I forget that you are one of those delusional Manny fans that actually believe he could beat Floyd if the fought now. Dude, Manny is finished, get over it. Hell, Manny is still sleeping and has no time to train.
this makes no sense. they were the best in the division and floyd ducked them. ortiz won 1 fight and floyd fought him. judah lost and floyd fought him. margarito and pac were ranked #1 for over 3 years and floyd didn't want any. how long do they have to be at the top? 100 years? guys like baldomir and ortiz were flash in the pans. why didn't floyd make them wait? cause they suck! this is called cherry picking.

See that is where you are wrong... Floyd could in fact lose to Guerrero and the rematch would due astronomical numbers. Guaranteed. So while he may fall on the p4p list. It would almost still be a win for floyd because there is really no body else out there for him at WW(outside of Pacquiao) that will do big ppv numbers outside of big guys like Canelo or Martinez who he probably would lose against anyways cuz of the weight and his age...

LOL, you're funny....still doesn't explain why Floyd fought Cotto, Mosley, Ortiz, and now Guerrero who all had losses when they faced Floyd. I guess your theory just went out the window huh?

Manny is still held in a higher regard than Floyd is even with the KO loss, I'd imagine that must not sit well with you.

Mayweather has been one of the most smartest businessmen to ever laced a pair of gloves. He's been able to manage his career during his prime just like De La Hoya did. And while De La Hoya risked his stock by boxing against other difficult fighters, Mayweather has been able to promote fights his own unique way, and has made millions out of it, without too much risk. He sells himself as the best ever because it's his way to promote his fights, obviously, and maybe if he fought some fighters on their prime in the past the 0 on his record would have been gone long ago, but he doesn't care about being the best fighter in history in his mind, he's seizing the opportunity of making a lot of millions of dollars before retiring, because he knows that once he's done with boxing, he won't make money the same way, while it would be difficult for him to find a boxer with his same abilities in order to sign him to his promotional company. And just remember, you can't say anything about him because he is older than most of the fighters he's faced, and he started his career at the 130 division, which makes his domination cover 5 divisions. If boxers manage their careers like he's done, they will be able to enjoy their money after retirement without health issues. I understand the point of view of us the fans, but you need to understand the boxers' point of view too, who risk too much of their lives just to please us.

You are right but what people don't factor in is that at one point Floyd did fight whoever they put in front of him. He wasn't always getting easiest fights, he's proven himself long ago. Floyd didn't even become a national big star himself until he was 30 years old, it took years for him to get here people forget the man is 36..

I agree with everything you said. There are a few people on here that choose to pretend that Floyd fought everyone in their primes, took the hardest fights and never, ever took the path o least resistance. I think it's great that he has made so much money over the years and he IS a very smart business savy guy. As you said, that's the business side of the coin, on the other side of the coin; however there are some areas of criticism.

The Floyd of the late 90's and early 2000's was the man and someone incredibly special in and out of the ring. I have no faults at all with that Mayweather.
