There will always be someone who says "Floyd will lose this time". Those are usually the ones who are a fan of the opponent or has been duped in believing that the opponent's last win was impressive and the same will happen to Floyd.
Then you can mix in those that say that they HOPE Floyd loses because they are NOT a Floyd fan.

BUT that doesn't mean that the opponent wasn't carefully selected.

Speaking of comical, didn't you hear it from Floyd himself, either prior to signing the contract or even after where Floyd states the truth about his opponents weaknesses?

    Floyd said:
Cotto: "Cotto lost several big wars that took something from Cotto.... in my opinion, that flat-footed Cotto even lost to Clottey"

Mosley: "My game plan will take into consideration that Mosley is old"

Guerrero: "Who is Guerrero? Who has he fought? I'm no Berto"

      Robert Guerrero 3rd KO (RG3)
Robert's chin will be checked in one of the rounds. Let's see if he can hold up.

Great post!! Sums up the why Floyd will always be accused of ducking someone (they guy he dose not fight) while being accused of cherry picking someone (they guy he does fight).

just because one or two fits your profile of hater doesn't mean its not true that Floyd carefully selects his opponents. See my post #21 above yours. I say more in that one.

What do you mean by "carefully selected"? The Ghost is the mandatory challenger for Floyd's title, is he not? Floyd could have been stripped of his title had he not fought him. When is the mandatory challenger carefully selelcted?

Also, was JMM carefully selected? How about Cotto at 154? Oscar at 154?

Let me ask you this: Would Floyd completely dominate JMM again?

Would Floyd dominate Bradley, Magic Man, Aydin, Rios and the rest of those guys under 147.

If your answer is yes, then all Floyd can do is cherry pick because there is no one in the WW division that would present a challenge; and as a result, anyone he fights from here on out will be carefully selected.

If anyone one was a bonified cherrypick it was him.

Devon Alexander would have been a cherry pick, this is a decent enough fight. There wasn't many options available this time around for Floyd. Course there was Canelo, but smart money says he's losing to Trout so what makes anyone think he can beat Floyd??.. I don't get that.

The bigger question is who does Floyd fight AFTER Guerrero?.. I'd like to see him fight Trout if he beats Canelo or Sergio Martinez. Not no f'n Devon Alexander.

The mandatory challenger to his belt and a world champion in 4 weight divisions is carefully selected?

Ok, then who the **** should he be fighting right now? You saying all this but you don't even have a list of who he should be in the ring with instead,I wonder why...

Oh thanks for reminding me about another excuse.

The difference is that he will do what you said when he feels its a beatable opponent. What happened against others such as Manny? Everyone wanted to see that except for Floyd!

I can back up my statements. Go check out a few videos of Floyd when asked about what you stated. Floyd has gone on record stating that "Floyd doesn't fight the best, he fights for money"
