The manner he beat Chisora in is the key imo. Fury outboxed and decisioned a badly out of shape and demotivated Chisora, Vitali sc****d past him. Haye destroyed him, despite him theoretically being a stylistic nightmare.

Who are the prime, legit heavies? Arreola? He's fat and inactive. Helenius? Chisora beat him. Povetkin? He doesn't want tough fights.

How was chisora a stylistic nightmare? He comes straight in, has no defence and swings wide shots. Haye has exceptional power, there's no denying that and any face first fighter will make him look good. Wlads ring IQ is far too high. People talk about Wlads size but they forget his amateur pedigree and technical ability. Yes Haye destroyed chisora and looked good doing it, but that's like saying jmm always gave pac fits, so he would have done the same to cotto, clottey and margs. Styles make fights and Wlads height, speed, power and technical ability are far too much for Hayes pot shots.

Id like or see Haye fight povetkin, Haye could use his high WBA ranking. Pulev, adamek, chambers, fury, arreola, stiverne, solis, even helenius. Any of these are better than the Ruiz haye fought, Harrison and chisora (helenius had a bad night and didn't look good since the surgery, but his wins this early against Brewster, Peter and liakovich trump hayes resume). I struggle how to class the valuev fight, valuev was already beaten by chagaev (and Holyfield in my opinion) and I honestly don't think Haye deserved the decision.

Povetkin is the only other guy that would make sense along with a somewhat interesting fight IMO...even he is pretty poor.

Adamek is useless at HW. Really, really doesn't belong...and lost his last fight.
Arreola is always garbage and doesn't have a single good win.
Chambers...is he still active? Regardless, he had nothing to offer even Adamek.
Helenius is looking dreadful at this stage.

Pulev and Solis are the only other fights that would be pretty cool, but I don't know how much interest there would be in terms of selling those.

Whoever Haye fights would sell in Britain, because the casuals and fan boys would buy into his hype again after the chisora fight, not to mention the non boxing fans and women that would tune in after seeing him on 'I'm a celebrity' here in Britain. Chambers isnt the most active but I believe this is mo due to people not wanting to fight him, you only have to look at his record, he went to Germany to fight dimitrenko when he was undefeated, povetkin, Peter when he was still dangerous, wlad, adamek (he fought most of the fight one armed and most, me included believe he won). I don't no what to think of Haye, he's only ever looked impressive fighting fighters who were a class below him. It's ok knocking out a shopworn Barrett and Ruiz, but how's that any more impressive than helenius knocking out Brewster, Peter and liakovich?

I make no secret of the fact that I'm a very big fan od Haye as a fighter, I think he's excellent. I like his skill-set with the power and speed on top of it, that makes him someone I like to watch as well as a fighter I rate very highly. I do however think he should make better use of his talent and beat some of the names mentioned, as I belive he could do it without too much trouble.

In terms of getting another Klitschko fight, I think the best preperation would be either Povetkin or Pulev. Neither fight like Wlad of course, but no other fighter in the division does either, so I think he should simply take the best possible fighter to stay operating at a high level heading into the biggest fight.

The difference is he already got his shot, now he is crying for another when he doesn't deserve it. Wach doesn't deserve another shot either, just like Haye doesn't.

And at least Wach is shutting up about it. it's a bad look on haye. stick to reality tv.

For better or worse he's the WBA's number one contender, so obviously THEY think he deserves it. Personally I think he should keep fighting contenders just like I think every other number one should until their time comes.
