you clearly did not because the former boxer Noons got dominated from start to finish in that fight. Mercer did knock out Sylvia but was also dominated by Kimbo slice in mma. its a totally different sport.

You need to check yourself here dude. Noons fought Diaz twice and TKO'd him in their first fight on cuts...look it up.

The only MEGA Fight in boxing that was missed was Pac v Money in the last 10 years with very few exceptions from promotional companies.

GGG is must see tv..but he is not even in at top 3 at MW right now. Sergio v Geale would be MEGA Fight by UFC standards..belt holder vs beltholder.

We all want to see great fights and will. We don't need one promotional company controlling everything and driving down fighter salaries while making a killing off a flawed product like the UFC does.

I am more concerned about watching 3 great weekends of sold out BOXING coming up and the drama adds to the sport.

In MMA, there's no way Danny Garcia is fighting Zab Judah after he just KO'd Khan.

His next fight would've been Matthysse, then Peterson, then whoever was next in line.

from a fans perspective i understand what you are saying but ask a lot of fighters how well run the ufc really is. i think the biggest difference is in boxing fighters see roughly some where from 70-80% of the revenue from an event where as in ufc it is estimated the fighters see 10-15% of the revenue

Yeah if you are pacquiao, mayweather, or cotto 80% of the revenue thats a bit much.

No man you are right,we would NEVER see a 2-1 fighter who tapped out 1fight before fighting for the UFC HW title EVER get a title shot.Especially after not beating the man,Mir, who he lost to before getting said title shot,right ??? Is this because you are upset that a 48 year old grandfather KTFO'D the UFC HW Champ 2 fights removed from their title. I know Mercer's career and the K1 fights that he "showed up" for and lost. I watched the video of Shannon Briggs destroy a UFC HW Tom Erickson in K1,it means nothing.
