There would be no bloodsucking corrupt sanctioning bodies. There would be no greedy corrupt rivaling promoters preventing big fights from happening because they prefer to do in-house fights. There would be no ducking since Dana strips his fighters if they refuse to defend their titles against tough comp. It would be one big organization where everyone would have to face everyone until there's ONE champ per weight class.

Now I see many boxing fans/MMA haters claim how this would not be good for boxing. Can someone explain how? Can anyone explain how having guys like Arum, Shaefer, and the ABC sanctioning bodies would be better for our sport than the way UFC is ran?

I've been saying this for years.

Boxing is a better product but they are being outclassed in the business framework.

Monopoly is great for the fans.
It may not be AS great for FMJ type of fighters. Maybe they would only make 10 million per fight. But it would be better for the guys that make less money.

And personally i'm more worried about the boxing fights than what Floyd makes per year.

from a fans perspective i understand what you are saying but ask a lot of fighters how well run the ufc really is. i think the biggest difference is in boxing fighters see roughly some where from 70-80% of the revenue from an event where as in ufc it is estimated the fighters see 10-15% of the revenue

This is another thing I dont understand. Paying guys like Floyd 30-40mil per fight gives them enough breathing room to retire after everyfight and the freedom to pick and choose who he wants to fight. Now while this may be good for guys like Floyd, how does it benefit us fans?

lol then how would guys protect their 0 for dear life?

But it would be great with a lot less overconfident guys who don't take risky fights.
Just about everyone would have a loss so maybe they could learn something new.
But it will never happen because everyone just wants money off of overhyped "undefeated" fighters who look invincible

Agree with this post. Harry nut sack. Even though you didn't respond to my breakdown of the Condit/Hendricks fight. I worked my ass off to write that up, and you treat it like trash. LOL. JK.

Many boxing fans also fail to realize that many boxers fight for peanuts until they are on the big stage. Now while the superstars of boxing make WAY more than the superstars of UFC, the undercard fighters in both sports make very little money. After making million dollar paydays, a guy like Kelly Pavlik was offered just $50k for his comeback fight. I remember Zab Judah fighting for just $15k.

UFC is not a sport, its called MMA and there are MANY champs per division, but these are promotional champs. Imagine a Top Ranks or Golden Boy champion

You have to be contracted under UFC to be a champ or even fight a UFC fighter. This is much worse then the way boxing is run

ya because those were just tune up fights they were doing to work for something bigger. Pavlik was offered $1.3 million for a Bute fight recently and Judah is making very good money for the Garcia fight in Brooklyn.
