Nonito is a technically skilled fighter, he punches with power, he conducts himself with class in public, he makes himself available for random drug testing 24/7/365, and he's happily married with a child on the way.

What more can you ask for from a boxer? He is definitely a great role model and poster boy for the sport.

Now he's just got to get past Rigo (I think he will lose)

        Also, no.

I'd like it to be Canelo or Broner.

I'd really like it to be Ward but that is just not possible.
I think Ward is the best choice right now since he's a good guy and has easily earned the spot of "poster boy". However, I think for the good of the sport, Canelo would be the best choice but he still needs to earn that title.

Broner is a terrible poster boy. Would you ever consider Floyd Mayweather as boxing's poster boy? I sure wouldn't. And Broner is a bigger jackass than Mayweather, IMO.

THE poster boy? I don't know about all that. At least not yet. But he's in the conversation, and that's already saying something.

Dude is a class act, a cool cat, and is a beast inside the ropes. And for all the haters who *****ed and cried about how he was/is a ducker who would never fight Rigo -- lmao. Who is he fighting again? Oh yeah. Rigo.

This is a guy who is fighting 4 times a year against the very best challengers available, but.. he also takes random drug testing 24/7 365.

Is there a better poster boy for boxing than Donaire?
He truly deserves it but boxing politics rather have Broner and Bradley above Donaire.

Why does being humble, a so called good guy, living clean and a non-trash talker matter so much to some of you?

You're more sound with having a racist/woman beater like Floyd or a purse snatcher like Broner being the "poster boy" of boxing?

I don't know about you, but it's much more fitting when a fighter with a bit of class is the poster boy.

No one person should be the poster for any sport period. Because when that person is gone whether it be over time or abruptly it will leave a big hole for that sport. All those that are at the top of the sport and handle their business in that sport should be used to advertise that sport.

I am of the opinion that what a fighter does outside of his given profession is not my concern. I really just don't care what Valero, Tommy Morrison, PBF or Broner has done outside the ring. It has no bearing on whether I like them or not cause my feelings are not caught up in them personally. I am fans of boxers because of what they do inside the ring everything else about their life is none of my business. If an ******* is the best in his profession then that is just what it is and they should be recognized for being the best and get the recognition they deserve plain and simple.
