Should Nonito Donaire be the poster boy of boxing?

I look around and while he has been given credit (top 10 p4p, the ring), he still isn't getting the credit he truely deserves. Look at the top banner for example.

This is a guy who is fighting 4 times a year against the very best challengers available, but.. he also takes random drug testing 24/7 365.

Is there a better poster boy for boxing than Donaire?

IMO, donaire does a lot for boxing. he has the technique/skill so hardcore fans are pleased.... and he has the lights out power to please everyone else. the guy speaks well and is humble, but can talk trash to keep things interesting. on top of all of that: he has fought everyone we demanded of him. each division he moves into, he fights legit fights. and the guy does 365 drug testing. THE ONLY GUY DOING IT.

i mean, i cant name a another fighter who has done the same.... ward comes to mind too, regarding poster boy status.

      actually yes he should be
as he goes up in weight, he'll start getting more of the respect he should
the guy kicks ass in the ring and doesn't waste time talking too much
what he does say, he backs up
this might change if he goes mainstream though
hopefully not, because Nonito is the truth in the ring

Donaire is a beast and one of the best fighters in the world and has been for a while.

I'm glad he's finally starting to get some recognition.

I think Donaire is the best fighter in the world pfp. I like everything about Donaire and there is nothing about him that I don't like. I really don't think any one fighter should be the face of boxing. Donaire is very good for boxing and is a credit to the sport.

Absolutely, the guy is great for the sport, he's a good role model, clean living, busy and exciting to watch.

My vote goes to Carl Froch.

Entertaining fighter who obviously loves his job and isn't in it simply for the money.

Yes he should. Awesome in the ring, and out. No frills, just beats asses.

If he ever fights in a relevant division...sure why not?

You say "Look at the top banner", but he is in the top banner? What is the problem?

                    Also, no.

I'd like it to be Canelo or Broner.

I'd really like it to be Ward but that is just not possible.
