Top Rank still has Bruce Trampler and that's all they need to create stars.

A guy like Amir Khan is built for HBO.

HBO is better than showtime. I hope He signs with Top rank.

"Rap star turned boxing promoter Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson has reportedly made an offer to Broner to join his company, SMS Promotions, when his Golden Boy deal is done." I'll be shocked if this happens

And Top Rank may hit a lull for a while but they have some serious young talent. Mikey Garcia, Puerto Rican Olympian Felix Verdejo, Mexican Olympian Oscar Valdez and Jesse Magdaleno all have the potential to be big ratings generators.

Top Rank and HBO will be relevant in the boxing world for a while.
but u are forgetting none of those guys now have access to goldenboy fighters which means the talent pool they have access to is limited to top rank and secondary promotions. i know to the top rank fighters it doesnt matter. but to fighters like martinez and marquez, it limits their choices.

Ken Hershman sees that Showtime is becoming a Golden Boy-only network and is getting all of GBP's best fights. It's Hershman's job to make sure HBO gets the best fights from bigger-name fighters, but Showtime is blowing their smaller budget outbidding them to make sure they get the fights anyway.

So Hershman has decided to cut Golden Boy off and let them die on the vine. He wants things how they were; Showtime gets the smaller-name guys, HBO gets the hallmark, super-star matchups.

Can Golden Boy continue on the level that it does without any income from HBO? Hershman is curious.

I'm glad I switched to Showtime. HBO now loses Broner and Thurman. No wonder they been trying to hype up GGG. Who else do they have left?

Only prevents a Martinez vs. Quillin fight. GBP isn't sticking Floyd or Canelo in there with him regardless.

And Marquez' career path is set. He's got at least 3 fights scheduled: Rios, Bradley and Pacquiao.

HBO and Top Rank still have years worth of matches they can put together until their younger crop of stars begin to emerge.
