I Take My Hat Off To Pat Russell

He had the opportunity to pull another Richard Steele and stop the fight with less than 2 seconds left or so. Thank God history didn't repeat itself, even though the opportunity was there.

Like many great fighters before him (i.e. Mayweather, Wlad, Tyson Jones, etc), Bradley was in a war with a fighter he was the favorite against. My hat off to Bradley, but more importantly, my hats off to Russell for knowing the situation, time, etc and not pulling some punk ass Richard Steele crap and stopping it with a second or two left in the fight.

    That's all.

Well you know how it goes. The dark clouds surrounding Taylor/Chavez is still monumental, even now.

      Oh I bet you do....

He basically gave Bradley the fight. Even when the Russian had TKO'd him in the first round.

Gave him the fight ? I must've missed him holding Bradley up for 11 rounds.

When Bradley went down in the 1st round, that was not a KD. Bradley went down too long after the last punch landed on him. Looked more like he was out on his leg because of the punch, BUT survived it, and then Ruslan did some kind of weird shove on a Bradley who's legs were weak, which resulted on Bradley going down.

Don't really care what any "expert" or other fans say, that was not a KD. If you want to call it a 10-8 round because Bradley took too much punishment, I wouldn't even argue with you, call it a 10-8 round if you want to. But that was not a KD.

Not really so sure what was so obvious about it I had about 3 different thoughts about what happened in a matter seconds.

Punch lands: wow nice shot, Bradley took it well.

He gets shoved down : not a knockdown, I wonder why Bradley fell though.

Bradley getting up and falling back down : see he's fine... Wait a min.. Oh **** ! He's hurt... He's hurt bad !

Nobody that I watched the fight with was really sure of what was going on until we saw him attempt to get up, fall down, and ultimately get back up. Once we saw his legs we knew it was for real. I don't blame pat russel either it was a weird series of events.

He leaned into his crotch and went down due to being hurt from the punch. Thats a KD
