lol people on hboboxing's instagram are calling this the best fight in years and FOTY. What the ****? Did I somehow not see what everybody else seen? Are my standards too high for the best fight in years? I think any of the last 20 weekend fights had better fights lol

I agree that its FOTY so far but its only march and with a **** load of great match ups coming up. So you think thurman/zaveck , rosado/golovkin, broner/burns were more exciting than bradley/ruslan?

Bradley has heart and can clearly take a punch but in fairness the bell saved him 2x's. His career as Champ will be short lived.

Bradley won this fight hands down. He constantly outpunched and outlanded Provodnikov by some 2 to 1 margin. There's no way one can reasonably justify a draw or even a Ruslan win because he just wasn't active enough. He took too many rounds off trying to land the perfect punch in order to end the fight and it backfired. While in the meantime, Bradley was piling up the points and rounds by being the busier of the two with stiffer jabs and cleaner combination punches to the body. Ruslan may have landed the heavier and more damaging blows in the bout but Timothy landed so many more of them; Which prompted Freddie Roach at one point, to consider stopping the fight due to Bradley's higher work rate and busting his fighter up.

There is no right or wrong answer to what happened in this fight but one thing that is correct is Bradley did not fight his usual fight but the real question is why? poor ratings? money? Pacman fight credit? bad fanbase? alot to prove?

There can be loads of reasons why he chose to fight the way he did but one thing is for sure, he still feels he has alot to prove which is wrong, he should of stayed with his style like mayweather does no matter what everyone says but i guess he let things get to know.

I think he did well to say he was not fighting his fight but Ruslan's and Ruslan definatly came to fight, i dont care what people think, hes not the most skilled but he took 1 to give 3, he reminded me alot of Antonio Magarito before the mosley beat down.

How can you have it a split decision? Did you watch it three times?
