He has very good defense as well, all around good speed.

I don't think so at all.

From the responses in this thread we have Bradley having above average ring IQ, defense, footwork, speed.

      Yet Bradley himself disagrees.

I don't see any area other than conditioning and mental toughness where Bradley is better than average. And neither does Bradley.

Defensively he's well above average, used to be far more reckless when he was coming up but that's changed.

I wouldn't say he is average in all areas, although that is kind of true. He does have strength and weaknesses though just that his strengths are not that exceptional and his weaknesses aren't terrible.

The only thing I would rate as below average for him is stopping power, he can keep guys honest but if he needs to pull a fight out of the fire he just doesn't have that club in his bag.

How many fighters in the game can you name that have better defense than Bradley besides Hopkins, Ward, and Mayweather.

              Not according to Bradley.

And I don't see how. He's slippery but he's not overly impressive at all defensively.

He may not be great, but average is someone like Pacquiao or Alexander, guys who avoid punches but don't have many ways to do it. Bradley certainly has better defense than that.

I see a a few people who often said Bradley is exceptional in every area. I don't see that at all. Like Bradley say's, he's average in every area, he does everything well. I don't think there's anything any area other than conditioning that he's excpetional in.

In the old interview, he highlights "There is nothing I do exceptionally well but I do everything well". If anything has it, please share it.

I do like the mean streak Bradley has been on though. He seems to have a chip on his sholder.
Average fighters don't accomplish what Bradley has in his career, he is way above average at everything he does. Even his punching power is above average, he dropped Peterson, wobbled Abregu, hurt Holt, hurt Alexander, dropped Witter.....he has hurt every single one of his opponents in the fights I have seen. His defense is exceptional, his movement is exceptional, his speed is way above average, his ring IQ is way above average. He gets sloppy sometimes and people attribute that to being mediocre.

Average guys don't beat fighters that no one else seems to be able to beat.

He also leaves himself pretty wide open when he attacks especially from the outside.

I haven't quite understood how that hasn't cost him more, he has kind of a funky awkward rhythm that guys I guess have trouble picking up on, that is about all I have.

He may feel that way, and one doesn't always have to be an agreement to how a fighter views himself in the ring, but defensively he's well above average. Even when he gets hit he's rolling with the shots. He has very good head/ upper body movement.
