Its not the same thing. Pavlik is actually over 6 ft tall. Doesn't matter how much power GGG has, Hopkins would pick him apart. GGG's stamina is in question too, doesn't look too reliable.

A concern for GGG would be that if he went up and destroyed Hopkins it would be something of a Pyrrhic victory. A lot of fans would never forgive him for it. It's one thing to beat up an old woman but battering an old man is crossing the line.

People still manage to take away from Hopkins when he fought Pavlik at 170, I don't see how they wouldn't take away from him beating GGG, I wouldn't make this fight if I was either fighter because even if they win people would just say (GGG is too small and a middleweight), or (Hopkins was too old so yea GGG was suppose to be him).

I chose Hopkins by UD. GGG will be too slow at 175. Who knows how his power will translate.

Bernard would have a 22' to 24' ring in the contract! GGG should start with a 17'9" then settle on a 20'! It may sound silly to some but Bernard relies on how many extra steps he has to take and at the end of each minute to a round and then 10 rounds its alot of steps to waste more time with. If GGG can get up on his toes and double and triple jab his way to Bernard Hopkins will look 48 after 8 or 9 rounds of constantly being pressured! Bernards tricks will work for a while but any time you can **** him hard another few steps are gone! That kid Cloud could have beaten Bernard but he didn't have depth to step up and put it on the line! I'll take GGG in the bout but Bernard won't do it, he didn't pick it! Ray

Interesting, but I would prefer Martinez first.

                    Someone needs to fight Genady..

I don't think he'll fight anyone else if he fights Martinez
