Why are some hating on the Broner/Malignaggi fight?

Jumping 2 weight classes is admirable, but jumping them to fight Paulie...not so much.

What most idiots don't understand is that Broner is jumping up two weight divisions. Let the f@wking guy test the division out before fighting stiffer competition. Yes Pualie isn't the best at WW but it's only a stepping stone. Lets judge him after a few fights at Welterweight not by this one fight. Bunch of crybabies TBH.

This is nothing different than what they've been doing with Khan/Canleo. Look at Canelo's list of fights, the guy has 41 fights, now we get to see him with the top 154lb'er Trout. Stop ****ting on Broner and enjoy the fights. We will see the fights we want soon enough. If we don't I'll be the first one to call a spade/a spade and saying Broner is ducking.

Like I've said lets see what he does at WW after the Malignaggi fight and then we can judge the kid.

since the lil baby is only 23 then maybe he should vacate his titles, stop fighting on hbo, and fight some espn-level guys for espn-money.

maybe you like watching showcase fights, but i'm not a big fan of that. at least not on hbo/sho/ppv. if he's gonna fight in the big leagues then he should be fighting major league opposition. which malignaggi isnt.

In fact when it didnt happen he was ducking RG whos only claim to fame was beating Aydin.

Is Paulie the best fight he could get at 147? No. Should his first fight at the weight be for a title? No.

Im not going to kill Broner for the fight. Its ****in CLEAR AS DAY that GBP/HBO are 100% focused on building their next star especially since Floyd is done on their network. They are doing it with Canelo who will headline his first PPV this fall whether he beats Trout or not. And they are doing it with Broner by trying to get him a belt in one of boxings most storied divisions not to mention the damn kid could still move back down ffs.

Listen, Broner is only 23 years old and the kid has only 26 fights under his belt. Moving up two weight classes and fighting for a strap, that's pretty impressive if you ask me. I understand Paulie isn't the best Welterweight but he does have a strap. I think it will be a good fight
