I can see it now, when Broner beats one of the top 140lbers, Broner was too big at 147lb

Right but with the tourney, who is Broner supposed to fight? Like you said the winner can move up to fight Broner. I don't understand why some people are making it a big deal. Broner isn't avoiding anyone.

Because hes skipping a loaded dangerous 140 division to fight an older regressing fighter who arguably just lost his last fight against a decent fighter at best. Broners team knows he can pick off an easy belt.

since the lil baby is only 23 then maybe he should vacate his titles, stop fighting on hbo, and fight some espn-level guys for espn-money.

maybe you like watching showcase fights, but i'm not a big fan of that. at least not on hbo/sho/ppv. if he's gonna fight in the big leagues then he should be fighting major league opposition. which malignaggi isnt.

and this "hater" nonsense...makes me cringe everytime someone says it. whether it's regarding boxing or not. i suppose we should all accept EVERYTHING in life and LOVE everything that's crammed down our throats. all hail the hbo hype-wagon as it can do no wrong. after all, its for the good of the sport. forget that best fighting the best nonsense, that's just money down the toilet.

Paulie is the strongest WW champ in the division. He destroyed the most dangerous and undefeated at the time Senchenko, who was very skilled and not a P.O.S boxer, and won an undisputed fight against Cano, where he outclassed him and had a slip accidentally called a knock down.
Seeing as Paulie is the on WW GBP has, it is fine. Not like they have anybody else in their weight class

              Paulie "Hands of Steel" Malignaggi

Broner vs Malignaggi is by far the biggest fight to be made right now... Mayweather vs Pacquiao doesn't even compare.

Paulie's the weakest of the 147 belt holders. Let's be real, they're jumping to 147 for the belt because it's Paulie and not one of the other 147 belt holders. What does his age have to do with anything? He's skipping a loaded 140 division to target the weakest 147 belt holder.

Exactly my point. Paulie is a God of mount Olympus who has chosen us puny mortals to watch him fight for glory.
He's chosen a select few to survive his punishment.... but a few of them were not so lucky like Senchenko.
I feel sorry for him, had Senchenko fought anybody other than Paulie, he'd still be undefeated

Paulie also couldn't punch a hole thru a cardboard box so yeah big deal it's a nice fight but that's it. He's still fighting a b- fighter.
