Chances Floyd goes toe to toe?

What are the chances Flopyd goes toe to toe With Guerrero as he said he would? Is he just talking smack trying to get Guerrero to prepare for a toe to toe fight?

    unlikely, he doesn't need to
he might once he has him ready to be KO'd
but he can outbox Guerrero very easily, so doubt he lets loose
Guerrero isn't strong enough to force Floyd into a dogfight

Just watching Guerrero in the lower weight classes, and how the move up in weight has taken a lot of his mobility, it's obvious he's gonna take it to Floyd and Floyd will accept the challenge, being as how Floyd is more skilled in the pocket. Guerrero not being that big a puncher will attribute to that as well. He'll occasionally counter Guerrero from mid to long range, but I have no doubt 80% of the fight is gonna take place on the inside. It's gonna be similar to Mayweather-Chavez/Ndou, except far more competitive.

He'll box when he wants and he'll sit in the pocket when he wants. Depends if he looks to stop him or not.

I think he went toe to toe with Cotto as often as he did because he thought he'd stop him. It was obviously a mistake on his part but I could see him doing the same with Guererro.

But to the answer the question I think he'll both box and sit in the pocket. He'll force the fight at times and sit back and sharp shoot at times.

Floyd is always going toe to toe now unless you are just too big & strong for him. He stood in the pocket vs Mosley, Ortiz, & Cotto for most of the fight so why wouldnt he do it against the Ghost? IDK why people think that Ghost can do him like he did Berto. Floyd is stronger than people give him credit for and he's 10x better and inside figher. Add that to the fact that Ghost is a Southpaw and Floyd always tries to walk them down. He's going to come right at him.

The only thing that "may" change this is Floyd having his dad back but his dad is the main guy who told him to stay close to Shane so he'll probably do the same to the Ghost. If Floyd does move though, I wouldnt be upset. I would actually kinda be glad if he showed that he could still move similar to his younger days. I dont see it happening though. Even if he does move, it will be slow walking moves, not quick moves like the younger version

In my personal opinion, I feel Floyd has gone a bit more toe 2 toe in his last two fights against Cotto and Ortiz, but whether that be because he is getting older or the opponent that is infront of him is debatable.

He was hit a bit more then he ever was by Cotto, but styles make fights and I don't see Guerrero having as much success as Cotto did. Will see tho, maybe Guerrero will shock me and Shock the World. My bet is that the most Guerrero wins in rounds is 2 and Floyd 10. The 2 rounds I can see Guerrero winning are the first 2 rounds before Floyd presses on the pedal.

the fight won't be in toe-to-toe range, which is mid-range. it will either be a chess match at long-range, or a wrestling and grappling match at close-range. so no... Floyd won't be fighting toe to toe.

Watch Guerrero be practicing a secret Marquez type punch that knock floyd straight out. Floyd rushes the action and suddenly a Guerrero counterpunch to **** with peoples heads lol

Why would floyd go toe to toe when he doesnt need to? He will win the way he wants to win.
