How is it left field? It coorrelates with me not wanting to get suckered for my money again. Does Floyd not have a history of saying one thing and doing another?

Obviously. If anyone seen his last few fights Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto. He went toe to toe in all 3 fights whenever he felt like it.

Hes a better inside fighter than Guerrero could ever hope to be. RG will lose the toe to toe battle and the center of the ring battle.

You weren't pleased with his performance against Ortiz? Lets exclude the ending of that fight, although I don't know your thoughts on it. Just his overall approach, not pleasing? I mention it because while Guerrero in my opinion is in every way better than Vic, Vic is physically stronger and hits harder, and Floyd didn't move much against Ortiz.

It's pretty obvious Floyd has to go toe to toe now.

He walked down Mosley and Ortiz and stood in front of Cotto. He's a different fighter these days, more vulnerable and his fights are more exciting because of it.

Just a shame Guerrero is unlikely to bring the best out of him.

No, in fact I've been pleased with his last few fights and found him much more entertaining than I have in quite some time. I still don't trust him though. Call it my very strong dislike for the guy. If he wasn't a great fighter I'd tune him out completely. He is though and Im a fan of the sport so i find myself in a dilemma. I'd like to watch it live, I just don't want to be disappointed again.

Understandable, it's happened but with good reasons, Baldomir's inhumane chin and Oscar's size. I'm actually worried for Guerrero here though, jump to 39:17. When I see that

100%. Floyd is going to cut Guerrero to shreds inside if it goes there.

It will look almost as similar as the Ortiz fight. He will use his jab to back Guerrero down and catch him off guard with the right hand, and then he will reset and start fighting off the ropes. I hope he doesn't plan on fighting this way against Canelo if/when he fight him.

guerrero wasn't all that hard to hit when he was coming forward against berto.

floyd will have a field day counterpunching if guerrero does come forward all night. i don't think guerrero will, though, or he may risk being stopped. he'll be likely to fall into the pattern of nearly every floyd opponent; he'll slow down and end up fighting floyd's fight because floyd is controlling the tempo and the ring. after a few rounds guerrero will throw fewer punches, come forward with less resolve, and begin to try and box.
