From some of the responses on this thread it seems clear to me that this bout is somewhat of a touchy subject.
It wasnt as controversial as you would like it to be, and bbc's coverage of boxing is token to say the least. Get over it, man.

Calzaghe landed 232 punches that night, to this day that's the most anybody ever landed on B-hop, including Roy Jones jr. Hopkins landed a measly 127 punches. There was 1 clear winner that night, and that clear winner was the "white boy"

You must have a very loose definition of punches. Actually these are the gloves Clazaghe used to train for the fight....

How about the Associated Press and ESPN? Are they idiots or black supremacists too?

I had it a draw or split to either but I leaned towards Bhop as the winner if I had to pick

Almost every knockout Calslappy ever had was a hometown stoppage peter manfredo type deal. All slaps and there are many videos to prove it.

Numbers don't lie. Hopkin's measly 127 punches landed was pathetic compared to Calzaghe's 232 punches. You calling Joe a slapper makes Hopkin's look even worse he lost to a slapper.

You gotta take that up with HBO compubox.

I believe in Karma, Hopkin's made a huge racist remark in front of the whole world, a couple day's later he lost to a slapper

Just because compubox said so doesnt mean it actually happened. Mathebula didnt land almost 2X as many punches as donaire either
