Eh nasty fight, but b hop did not throw enough to win this fight. Whiteboy edged it.

I am white and I was definitely roused by the racial remarks so I wouldn't put it past the judges to be influenced by them as well. I think my post above clearly demonstrates that.

You got the two white judges giving a huge edge for Calzaghe while one of them arguably scored it the most accurate with Bhop winning by 1 point.

          It was very much controversial.

One guy was slapping at fresh air all night and won some rounds through that activity, but the other guy was doing all of the effective work and won the fight. Every meaningful punch was landed by Hopkins and he should have got the W.

            Not controversial at all.

I had Hopkins winning but it was a close fight that could have gone either way.

I didn't think of it as controversial, it was certainly close and can understand feeling B-Hop won but the judges made the call they made in a close fight and they liked Calzaghe's work better.

                End of story.

Bruce was one bad cat. Reverse backs kicks with that must speed and execution.

but does this apply to every round or the fight as a whole?hopkins did not land meaningful shots in every round yes he was the one landing the cleaner punches in the fight but they were few and far apart and as the fight went on the worst hopkins was starting to look

Depends what you like, a guy throwing a ton of punches and not landing or a guy throwing few punches but landing them
