After Matthysse takes care of Garcia, who do you want Matthysse to fight? Khan will be the only logical choice for him regardless of what Khan has done recently. You'd prefer Matthysse fight bums until Khan "earns" his shot?

What if Khan rematches Peterson while Garcia and Matthyse get it on? Would that be enough to earn his shot? If not, who does Khan have to beat to earn a Matthysse shot?

Broner getting in the mix would be nice, but this guy just ducked the 140 division.

What's wrong with that? Khan already lost to 2 participants as is so they'd be in the same boat. So who should he fight after Diaz? Some tune up sparring partner instead of Peterson, Matthysse or Garcia? You want him to just sit back, wait for the winner and take easy fights in the meantime?

I don't know how anybody could not want Khan to beat Peterson, Matthysse or Garcia before fighting the winner of the tournament for the undisputed title.

I can see it right now:

If Lucas wins the tournament and khan fights one of the others it's going to be; AK is ducking the winner the hard punching Lucas for someone who already lost.

If Garcia wins the tournament; AK is ducking Garcia because he knows he will get caught with that left hook again zzzzzz

If LP wins then it's AK is scared to lose to LP again he knows he will be getting pressured from the start.

He's getting married in may/June and Ramadan is in July (AK never fights in Ramadan anymore). So he won't be back in the ring until November.

Here's the thing. The tourney is designed to leave khan out to face nobodies and give him a shot later. He's not a victim, he's the protected guy who's benefiting from all of it

If Matthysee wins the tourney he will have beat peterson, Garcia (probably), Dallas, ajose, Sotto and devon since Khans last decent win, maidana. This is like Paulie getting a shot at Floyd, its laughable

This is the problem with people's thinking, Khan is not the victim, he's the protected guy.

I like Khan. He takes on tough fight after tough fight.

But Carlos Molina and Julio Diaz quality opponents shouldn't result in him getting a shot at being the undisputed champion. He needs to take a challenging fight in the fall against one of the big 4. Well really 3, since he already beat Judah pretty easily.
