I don't think sitting out and fighting lower level opposition and waiting to fight the eventual winner is good for Khan. It did not work for Bute .The guys fighting to get to the top are getting match tough,with Khan fighting lower level guys while going through a rebuild sounds a sound theory but it is one thing new technique holding up when you know you can easily beat the man in front of you and another when you are in a real test with somone really good. To me this demonstrates that Schaefer/Golden Boy have no real confidence in Khan and are just going for the easy money until the inevitable happens and the wheels come off Khan's career again.

Khan is rebuilding his career so meh, If GBP didn't have "confidence" in Khan then they wouldn't let him walk into a mandatory defence by letting him go into his opponents backyard that what you call confidence or they wouldn't go to New York to fight Paulie M, Compare that to Timothy Bradley who as the champion took less money in his fight with Lamont Pederson so that he wouldn't have to go to Pederson backyard and avoid getting rob.

Rather than disproving the point that GBP don't have confidence in Khan you have proved it. GBP "HAD" confidence in Khan and that is why they were happy setting up the Peterson and Garcia fights but their present policy of protecting Khan is a 180* U Turn so I can't see how you can use those 2 fights to prove a point they have confidence when the policy change says otherwise.

Luckily he's already fought 3 of the 4 and he's beat one, had a very close fight with one and lost to one. So he's obviously amongst those names.

I'm thinking if Garcia beats Judah and Matthyse beats Peterson then the logical thing to do is have Matthysee-Garcia then Khan-Peterson 2 then the winners fight each other.

I think that's what Golden Boy are hoping for.

You are going full circle and back, khan is making more than Garcia, Pederson, Lucas and Judah. It's irrelevant whether khan took 15 KO loses he still making more than those 4 names, and when anyone of them fight Khan they would end up making more money than if they fight each other.

You asking irrelevant question "who made more Morales or Diaz?" Duh ... My point is if Morales fight Khan he would make more money in a Khan fight than he would make in a Garcia , Pederson, Judah or Lucas fight..

Again Khan is the money guy at 140 and when you fight Khan you would be picking up your biggest payday in a voluntary fight.

Maybe at one point of Khan career all those fighters would make more fighting Khan..At present moment I'm not so sure of that..

Quick question, Bradley and Alexander were paid more to fight each othethen Maidana was paid to fight Khan..Like I've been told you, networks pay for big fights..

Would anyone have had a problem with this sequence of events if Shaefer hadnt said "and Khan gets the winner"?

I realise those words grate with a lot of people because of his losses but say if this tourney happened while Khan was rebuilding, the winner comes out, looks at his options and chooses to face Khan. Would anyone **** on Khan or his opponent then? Seems to me like that would be the best fighting the best, something every fan should want...

As a boxing fan im not particularly fussed about how these fights come about, as long as they actually do.

Money May said earlier that Khan has a wedding (long winded in ****** communities i think) and Ramadan over summer which limits his options
