Hopkins definitely won, there's no doubt about that.
I scored Cloud vs Hopkins a draw...

you dont know how to score a fight my friend.
hopkins won almost half the rounds convincingly. i only gave cloud two rounds, i could see him get three or four at best. there is no way you can score this fight a draw, none. not that anyone who scores four even rounds in a single fight should be taken seriously to begin with.
clean effective punching
ring generalship
defense
effective aggression
those are the criterias for scoring a fight. i assume you only count punches and aggression, ignoring defense and ring generalship and dont bother looking at the effectiveness of the punches and aggression.
thats why you dont see what knowledgeable ppl see, because you dont know how to score properly. if you take defense and ring generalship into account (as you should) you would realize hopkins dominated. not to mention the effectiveness of either fighters punches and aggression.
if you did that and scored it properly you would realize this wasnt a close fight and a draw is laughable.Comment

The fact you had 4 rounds a draw shows that you're a bad judge to start withPlease stop saying Hopkins outclassed Cloud and won almost every round, cause he didn't. The HBO commentary makes it look like Hopkins is putting on a masterclass when he isn't throwing ANY PUNCHES and is just standing there doing nothing or moving away.
I scored 4 rounds a draw: rounds 1,2,4 and 9.
I gave Hopkins rounds 3,6,11 and 12
I gave Cloud rounds 5,7,8 and 10
And I was REALLY HAVING A HEADACHE giving rounds 11 and 12 to Hopkins cause he basically didn't really win them.
And even rounds 3 and 6 which I gave to Hopkins were in reality almost drawish kind of rounds.
So PLEASE watch the fight without commentary and you will see that apart from nothing happening the whole fight, you can make a case of Cloud outworking Hopkins and winning the fight by a point or two.
And don't get me wrong, I think it is incredible that Hopkins at age 48 can hang in there with Cloud, but to say he wins a round in which he is not doing anything is...well....
I had Cloud winning rounds 1,2 and 4
Hopkins took the rest.. he hardly threw any punches but still outlanded cloud with clean effective punchesComment

You a Cloud fan or something? Why does someone have to post a scorecard to make an argument. I can just make up some scorecard and still say Hopkins toyed with Cloud.Originally posted by raskatanybody who says Hopkins won or "clowned" Cloud: do me a favor and post a scorecard here.
I did post a scorecard myself and anybody who disagrees with certain rounds can tell me and I will rewatch that certain round.

First Mayweather-Cotto was a robbery now Hopkins-Cloud was a draw.
You need to learn how to score a fight.Comment

Post your scorecard. Hopkins clowned nobody.
Post your scorecard. Hopkins was missing a lot just like Cloud. Difference was that Cloud was busier overall.
Post your scorecard.
Post your scorecard. Only thing laughable is your comment. If you think a guy is dominating a round in which he is moving away and doesn't throw any punches, then you need to learn boxing. And don't tell me HBO saw it the same way as you did cause that doesn't mean anything. HBO has their agenda.you dont know how to score a fight my friend.

If Hopkins doesn't throw any punches and moves away while Cloud comes forward and throws punches, while both miss sometimes, then you would have to say Cloud might have won or edged the round.
Almost all rounds were close but anybody who says Hopkins won the fight or won it clearly, is a clown to me. Just like the HBO crew.
Post your scorecard.
Is there any Cloud fan out there? I am definitely not one of them. I just score what I see.
