Benn would of beaten him atleast once in three fights and twice in five fights, and Graham already beat him. At 154, Graham would of definately beaten him.Originally posted by oldgringoMike McCallum>Eubank/Benn/Graham/Collins/Watson
Eubank put it nicely "Take his body punching away and he is not in my class", he sparred with McCallum for McCallum's fight with Graham so he should know. If Eubank could take a body shot, he'd of beaten him.
Collins, give me a break. Why are you even mentioning him in the same sentance?Comment

hmm
Actually, McCallum beat the Herol Graham in his own country by decision. Additionally, Eubank is an idiot for saying "take away his body punching and he's not in my class". Well, no **** Sherlock. That's like Tony Tubbs saying "Mike Tyson's not in my class if you take away his punching power".
And now, you get bad karma. Everyone else please follow suit and give him bad karma as well.Comment

Mccallum was actually the underdog against Watson, but damn he bounced those gloves off Watsons ribcage well. So,I think Mccallum would of actually been a pretty big underdog against Benn if Benn had beat Watson.Comment

Collins was awesome! Who ever brawled with him and came out on top even for a few secs? Nobody. Remember Mccallum fight,Collins suffered stage fright and anyway the Petronellis gameplan was to box Mccallum for some strange reason. When Collins became aggressive brawler though after six rounds,he clearly won rounds 6-9 against Mccallum more clearly than any round Mccallum won. Mccallum didnt like it,he couldnt beat Collins standing with him so boxed on the move for rounds 9-12 actually running from Collins at certain points! Then,he refused to give Collins a rematch. Benn chose to brawl with Collins, and he came unstuck,he just couldnt get the better of Collins which was a shock because this was Nigel Benn! So,Benns corner pulled him out twice. Ive never seen anybody get the better of Collins when they have decided to stand with him. Collins said he had over one hundred streetfights and never lost a one-on-one.Originally posted by GregsterCollins, give me a break. Sure,Collins is nowhere near the skill level of Eubank,Watson,Toney,Mcclellan,Mccallum,Graham or Benn and nowhere near the skill level of Nunn before Kalambay and Kalambay before Nunn, but the fact that Collins found success with such limited talent deserves the utmost respect!Comment

Check your PM's.Originally posted by Moschino045I get that impression, in earlier fights of Watson i have he was more of a badboy but when he fought Benn and Mccallum and 1st Eubank he was a goodboy! Ive got the Bruno v Witherspoon card on VHS from Wembley where he Ktfos simon Collins early on with a sweet right cross that laced thru his defence. I got about a few others, maybe four others , and he was bad back then. He tried being a nice guy, it did nt work, so he was a badboy again for 2nd Eubank fightComment
