You say Watson lost to Errol Christie as an amateur. They never fought.
You say he beat Dan Sherry and Shawn O'Sullivan in the Canada Cup. Watson didn't even go to the Canada Cup, let alone beat those two outstanding men.
You say he won the 1983 London ABA middleweight title. Tyrone Forbes won it.
And Mike Watson never fought Mike Nunn as an amateur.
Where do you get off writing this bull****?
Bull****! Why do you need to lie? Canada Cup results are in the record books and there's nothing you can do about it, and Watson mentioned the Nunn fight before.
Watson had the flu, was extremely rusty, and his preparations had not gone correctly and neither did his tactics. His corner should of ****ing pulled him out like five rounds before he collapsed, because he was clearly in no fit state to be in a boxing ring that night and took a beating because his corner didn't pull him out. The guy had the flu FFS, and McCallum put in the best performance of his entire career.

McCallum wouldn't of lived with Watson from the Eubank-Watson 2 fight, though.
A ridiculous, ridiculous statement. A slap in the face to a hall-of-famer....in order to trump up some non-hall-of-famers.
I love how I'm accused of being biased against Brits, when it's clear as day who the biased folks are on this subject.

McCallum, is a great fighter.

Eubank & Watson, they're not.

You've never seen the Eubank-Watson 2 fight in your life, Watson looked more impressive in that fight than McCallum looked in any of his fights. McCallum couldn't of beaten Eubank like that, heck, he got a gift decision against a washed-up Herol Graham. McCallum was a top, top fighter, but Watson on that night wouldn't of lost to Anybody (other than Eubank!). For you to say Eubank wasn't a great fighter, well, that pretty much cancels out your opinion on anything. Go **** yourself.

Would Mike Watson ever of lost a boxing match again, fighting like he did in the Eubank 2 fight? No chance! He could be a living legend, if it wasn't for that tragedy.

Yeah...McCallum got a gift in England, against the British fighter.

& yeah, Graham was the washed-up one...despite having only a few more fights than McCallum, being younger, & being the natural 160lber that McCallum wasn't ?

Do you believe your own bull****, JUYJUY ?

Well, disp****.....it ain't like someone from the stands hit Watson with a thrown bottle, or that he had his career ruined by a farm tractor accident.
The ****in' guy was knocked out in a boxing match. Don't sit here & wax poetically about what coulda been with him, when his fighting fate was absolutely determined by a FIGHT ITSELF.

It didn't happen. For you to say it did, and continue to say it did, is going to run you into a lot of trouble.

If Michael Watson wasnt knocked out by a farm tractor then what you say is dead solid perfect.
