I'm looking forward to the Zaveck Vs Thurman fight. From what i've seen from Zaveck hes a durable guy, so it will be interesting to see what Thurman has in reserve if Zaveck copes with his power. Could be a good fight this one.

Hopkins Vs Cloud will probably be a pretty dull fight, im not sure what im thinking for this one. I'm leaning towards a close points win for Cloud a the minute, certainly wouldn't be surprised though if once again Hopkins pulled out the win.

Zaveck's solid, but Thurman beating him doesn't prove that much. it's all relative.

Thurman's probably going to give us some good fights and be there or thereabouts for a while.

I think Thurman is the goods too but Zaveck is a tough dude. Thurman has heavy hands but he can be hes there to be hit and Zaveck isnt going to lay down for him. This is a real test imo.

If Thurman walks through him I'll be impressed but I'm expecting Zaveck to put up a fight.

Hopkins by decision, btw. if his legs are still good and he can pull the trigger, if he hasn't gone drastically downhill in the last year, i can't see it any other way.

Yea Thurman seems like he can be a lil better then Collazo(with a lot of hard work),but that's a tall order because Collazo was a very(very)fundamentally sound fighter..He's gonna need this win tonight to prove it to me..

I don't think Zaveck is as boxing talented then Thurman, but Zaveck is a fighter..I think his best bet is to push Thurman's conditioning, lay in close(don't let Thurman breath)**** body head..Make it a nasty in the trenches kind fest for real..That's Zaveck best shot..IMO anyway..

One things for sure tho,if Zaveck fights like that..We're going to be in for a mutha ****en fight..

My questions with Thurman only lies in his conditioning, and ring I.Q.

I hope Zaveck can provide some answers tonight..

Oh and work ethic outside the ring..Which I find very important as well, you does this fight continue to work at his craft..Even in off hours..

i think with Collazo, you have an example of an excellent fighter who the industry wasn't kind to. seemed like he struggled to keep his spirits up and just drifted off. kind of sad, really. we didn't see enough of him.

if nothing else, Thurman's punching power should open doors for him. he has that perception around him that he's an exciting fighter, which Collazo lacked, so the business will grant him more of a fair shake. he has to make the most of the opportunities, but he'll get them and stand a better chance of being favoured in situations that a guy like Collazo wouldn't be.
