Cloud, like most top boxers are students of the game and I'm sure He has seen the dirty old man pulling a lot of his tricks inside and outside the ring.
I hope He knocks the old excon and we can allow boxing to continue as a cleaner more professional sport. Today, you can sell a fight with all the media coverage and boxers don't need to dress like clowns or act like wrestlers to sell a fight.
They can sell a fight with class and hard work coverage. I like the new approach of coming dress like professionals (nice suits) and acting like professionals.

hes a hard working, young guy and hes got a good team around him which means he will have learned from that fight and improved.

besides, cloud couldnt handle campillos height, reach, workrate and long southpaw jab. none of which hopkins brings to the table.

meanwhile cloud brings the worst possible style for hopkins to fight at this point in his career, hes a very strong and durable pressure fighter who cuts the ring off well. he is fundamentally sound, throws short punches, has good versatility, throws great combinations and works the body a lot. on top of all that hes very tough and mentally strong, it will be hard to get in his head.

its hard to see hopkins having the fire power to make cloud take a step back or the legs to stay on the move for 12 rounds. if he cant keep cloud off him he will get worn down quickly, cloud throws bombs. cloud is very underrated, ppl put to much into his loss to campillo when in reality it made him a better fighter. besides styles make fights.

I think the trainer switch will prove to be BIG for cloud. Abel sanchez is extremely underrated. Hopkins wont be bale to take Clouds strength.
