Has Sergio Martinez beatin any class A fighters?

His signature wins are vs Williams @ middleweight catchweight
(he also lost to Williams). Who's a glorified slugger with absolutely NO defense
(if I'm not mistaken Williams only had 2-3 fights at that weight, he was a blown up welter)

And vs Chavez who's also a glorified slugger with no defense and slow as hell and was nearly ktfo? This is after Chavez smoked weed all camp

Those are his 2 best wins of his career and he is somehow top 3? Wtf?

He beat some European bums, he should get no credit for that..

    NO CLASS A FIGHTERS...

Some people have him above Ward, who has beat at least 3 world class fighters in Dawson, Froch and Kessler all by wide margins

His best win is the Paul Williams KO. There are some fights at 160 that I'd love to see him take but he doesn't seem interested in fighting any legit opponents in his weight class.

Pavlik was a very good win obviously, although he had no soul since Hopkins devoured it.

He's beaten a lot of good fighters as well as his two big wins.

But the TS would probably call them European bums like a ****.

most fighters move up in weight as they get older. granted williams was always more comfortable at 154 than 160, but hes still a big dude and maertinez started at 147 too.

williams can box when he chooses too, but he does tend to throw it out the window you are right about that. still, with the abilities he brought to the table he was still one f the best fighters out there. you can tjust focus on a fighters flaws and ignore the upside, williams a was a legit top 10 p4p fighter. certainly class A and a very good win on anyone record.

We need to get the Froch v Martinez bandwagon on the road
