Why isn't anyone calling for Garcia vs Matthyse?

He didnt blow his opportunities, he won them and got robbed. After beating up Devon and Judah, those 2 fighters went on to get gifts, devon getting the IBF belt and judah getting a Garcia fight after losing, while the guy who beat them is getting blackballed. All you are doing is making excuses as to why its ok for Garcia to face a universally lower ranked Judah instead of the higher ranked and better Matt, who is also his Mando.

He stepped up and proved his worth, therefore he cannot face the protected fighter like Garcia, only washed up guys with names and no chance can. GBP has made this very clear.

I want a real champ at 140, and you're justifying that fight not happening or even after this fight cuz apparently you want Miadana for Lucas instead of Garcia You're the excuse master

Lucas stepped up to fight zab, whether you can admit it or not, he started very slow, came on strong late, and lost. Zab went on to beat Mabuza. Maybe if Lucas wins that fight, he beats Mabuza and then gets khan. He just wasnt ready. Happens to a lot of fighters.

Matthysse isnt better than zab. I watched them fight, I know whose better. Maybe if they fight again Lucas will get moving earlier and eave no doubt.

But we have a real champ at 140. Garcia KTFO of the champ. I dont have to justify this fight. zab has just as much claim to the fight as matthysse.

Matthysse appears to be getting a title fight with Petersen or a maidana fight next. Lets see if he can win. If he does, then a fight with the Garcia/Judan winner is definitely apprpopriate.

he removes himself as WBC mandatory. it's obvious what GBP are trying to do and he's falling for it. so, yes, i believe he should stick to his guns, stay busy and force the fight. Schaefer wants him to go away and, by agreeing to fight for Peterson's worthless strap, Mythysse (< no typo) is agreeing to do so.

Garcia could find a way to dodge Matthysse whether he was a mando or not. At least with a title Goldenboy can market the fight easier and might be more willing to make it. If not then Matthysse comes away with a title and still has other options.

Mandatories dont mean **** as has been proved many times. If Goldenboy want to make the fight theyll make the fight, at least this way if they don't then Matts can move on fight other options rather than being stuck in no mans land again.

i hate Mythysse (< no typo) with a passion, tattoo artist is one of the most absurdly overrated labourers of recent years, and i don't think it's by any means a foregone conclusion that he beats Danny, but he deserves his shot and it is blatantly obvious that GBP are stalling it while trying to divert his attention with other opportunities. Danny should be fighting him, not Judah. period. there is no rational argument to the contrary.

If he beats Peterson he will be the best fighter in the division, easily. Garcia is ranked ahead of Peterson by just about everybody so we should see a fight for the 140 champ. I want the best fight, not 2nd best one

Garcia is not the champ, he KTFO the #2 ranked JWW who was coming off a loss to peterson "the champ". Peterson of course wasnt the champ and Khan ever never the champ as well.

it's sweet that you care about the options of "Matts" (how affectionate), but i could give a toss about the forum cult hero's options. i just want to see the most relevant fights, bottom line. being dodged as a mando is a possibility, but he stands a much better chance of getting to his main rival in the division if he sticks to that spot and keeps heaping pressure on. he's heading off in a different direction now, fight won't happen.

Seems like the most logical thing to me. Lucas has all these options and steps to making the fight happen, yet theres nothing stopping the fight from happening, other then Garcia not wanting it of course
