Canelo is still fighting on regular showtime, and Mayweather is still 43-0 and on PPV! I know it hurts to see it but oh well deal with it.

No one should be shocked, Floyd has shown over and over again he'll change his mind in the blink of an eye which I agree is his right to do and its fine but honestly there are about 4 guys he can fight that I would actually bother to watch via ppv and not stream..this is one..martinez, trout and pacquaio..beyond that i'm streaming everything. I'm curious tho how folks think this will hurt the ppv numbers because that undercard isn't amassing to ishh right now. Also if Canelo wrecks Trout does that improve him in your eyes? I like Trout but he's sloppy imho, I think he gets floored at least twice in the fight. Cotto couldn't do jack because of his hand speed being shhht

Exactly, the guy's running his mouth with that kind of resume for a 154 'champ', smh, Canelo smoking some of that Chavez weed or something.

Let's see what happens on April 20th and May 4th before we talk about these two fighting, Canelo is overlooking his opponent in Trout by the looks of it and Mayweather isn't by the looks of it which shows intelligence and experience on Mayweather parts. Signing an agreement to fight someone else while you have another opponent in front of you is disrespectful especially in 2013.

Thank you lol... I wonder why people find that hard to see. Did they forget what happened with Ortiz/Canelo?? But yeah I feel you on that.

of course floyd would hide back down to 147. he did the same thing with winky wright when he fought oscar at 154. hide back down to 147 to fight a career 140 pounder in ricky hatton.

lol when he couldnt hide anymore because welter became the deepest and hottest in all of boxing floyd "retired." Then came back when everybody beat each other up.

History once again repeats itself. Floyd fresh off beating cotto to become once again a 154lb champion hides back down to 147 to fight a career 130 pounder with only two fights at welter despite having trout, canelo, and sergio willing to go back down.

This is a pattern of cowardly design.

He said he's interested in the winner of Trout-Canelo so...

His options at '47 are limited.

It holds more importance and many, the majority either see this as a 50-50 fight or are picking Trout to win, Floyd on the other hand is expected to not only win but do so in great fashion.
