Let me throw this out here for the hell of it!!!!!'Arum came into boxing as an outsider! he had no mainstream connection in boxing that I know of.
He took Vegas his main site, and built it up better than the others did. He promoted Ali and others better than King and squeesed into Kings, Duva and Kirshners business and had huge success!!!

You can't stay around in this business as a promoter without hinsight and a gift to "sell" to the powers to be!!! I worked a few of his shows and have nothing negative to say about the guy. I don't know him and I don't remember meeting him but he's been around a long time so he's preety good at what he does, right? Where are the other big time veterans? Don't be fooled either he can take De LaHoya and 50s money into the late rounds and KO them anytime he wants! When Arum is done you (the fans) just might not like whats left! Ray.

Given that the fourth was billed as a fight to end the rivalry conclusively, and it ended with a brutal knockout, I'm thinking that it won't be JMM.

If it were to benefit JMM, that piece of **** Arum would not be trying to make it. If Pacquiao had knocked out JMM, do you think he would be trying to make a rematch?

      Unbelievable.

It's a dumb question because the answer is clear. It's Marquez of course. Remember Pac has 2 wins over Marquez vs his 1 win over Pacquaio. Not to mention the judge admitted scoring error over the first fight should also need to consider.

Marquez can turn down the Pac rematch and huge amount of money believing he doesn't need Pac anymore. LMAO! Reality is...he needs to fight 3 opponents at least to get the kind of money he should earn against Pacquaio and the chances of losing against them is pretty high.

Well good luck Marquez and don't lose to them.

Boxing benefits from it, but I'll keep it simple by saying I don't even care. All I know is that Marquez is a g.

All the idiot flomos attacking Arum in this thread when they know damn well they'll be glued to the fight like everyone else.

Truth is, everyone benefits from this fight. Pacquiao has a chance for redemption, Marquez has a chance to conclusively seal the series, everyone makes money from it while the fans get to see a 2012 FOTY contender rematched.

                  It's win-win-win.

I would post a gif, but I respect Manny. The series has already had a conclusive ending. Marquez knocked Manny the **** out for more than a minute.

Whereas if they fight again, it could just result in another close decision. Why mess up the verdict? We finally have a clear win

The series has been sealed more conclusively than anyone could've expected, in the fight which was supposed to end the debate.

We have that ending. That's how the fight was promoted. The only reason Manny and Arum have been clamouring for a fifth fight is because it wasn't conclusive in their favour.

I can drag up all the quotes from both camps that I could be bothered finding. But no doubt you already heard those.

Ko'ing a fighter into oblivion is conclusive. A 5th fight like all the previous four is about money, and there is nothing wrong with that. This is prize fighting after all.
