The Filipino fanbase is huge and with Manny taking a break, Arum could have captilized on the Filipino fans wanting another champion. Nonito was ESPNs 2012 Boxer of the Year and he deserved to a PPV event, plus Rigo has the whole Latino fanbase by his side.

Even sticking Rigo on big PPV bouts he has gain no fans. He is boring and hasn't been around too long. If this was a ppv fight it would be an epic failure

In all fairness to Donaire, not too many fighters are. Pacquiao is (or was) a phenomenon. Those don't come along but once every so often. Nonito ain't one of 'em.

Donaire has an edge on Rigo, but probably not as much as many people think. They're both still hardcore guys. I'll be at the fight in NYC. I'm very curious to see if these two can fill a 6,000 person capacity venue.

She took Rigo's comments of chino and turn them into a racist comments. Without even considering the context of what it was said in another language. You cant translate from spanish to english without understanding the culture and the real meaning of what was said. I know it is wrong for all latinos to call asian, chino, but it is not trying to be racist like Rachel interpreted it.

Also, I'm not cuban, but Rigo use of Chivaton in that context does not translate to snitch. It seems like he is telling Nonito that he talks and lies too much.

Yeah Rigo and for that matter Cubans are very racist people from what my friends have told me and what I have experienced on the forum. I don't understand why Rigo's racist comments are not on the front page of ESPN, whenever fans throw bananas on soccer fields directed at Black players in Europe, it's always front page and center. Does anybody know whats the best way to contact ESPN and CNN?
