I'm annoyed by people who hate on Rigondeaux and I'm annoyed by people who hate on Donaire.

Both are fantastic fighters. Neither are overated. Both deserve their top spots.

Also its not necessary to criticize or down play one of the fighter's achievements to justify picking the other to win. This is simply the two best fighters in the division going at it, let the best man win.

Good comment! I agree sometimes his punch output could be a little higher but his defense, footwork and counter punching ability is superb and breathtaking.

I think the defensive aspect of boxing is almost a forgotten art. I love a good old tear up don't get me wrong like.

Actually Canelo gets quite a bit of crap for his resume (which is well deserved).

And what I think people hate the most about Rigondeaux is that he has only 11 pro fights and his supporters are frequently screaming bloody murder because Doniare hasn't fought him yet.

Here is Rigondeaux putting more of his tools on display than I feel most of you are used to seeing. I don't think we've seen the best of Rigo yet.

This is against Jose Angel Beranza. Yeah hes a journeyman but he hadn't been stopped for over a decade & he has given tough fights to AJ Banal, Vasquez Jr, Oquendo, Del Valle etc etc

Hes a very experienced, tough guy who usually gives just about everybody a tough time.

I personally give Rigo a ton of credit. I think he's the better boxer of the two, by quite a mile. I was even backing him to beat Donaire.

My eyes have seen him stunned a couple of times by fighters I think are less capable then Nonito and on that basis "i'm out" (as they say in Dragons Den).
I believe he will box circles and around Nonito and frustrate him like he's never been frustrated before...but I'm betting on Nonito landing and Rigo not liking the follow up and initial punch.

I'm not discreting Rigo and I think anyone that discredits Donaire is being foolish too. These are two quality quality operators about to hopefully face off. Boxing really wins here. Fan boys need to be quiet. Let the good times roll and may the best man win

It was a great performance. He won every round, dropped him several times and stopped him in 6, ripping his world title away from him.

Not sure you could ask for more than that.

Like it or not Ramos was an undefeated world champion and a top 10 ranked fighter.

Lets not go on like Donaire hasn't been in snoozers and struggled with lesser opposition and such

As for Efrain Esquivias, Ramos won that fight. Was it a great performance? Not by any means.

Esquivias lost to Romero as well who was an amateur stand out and may just be the best kept secret in boxing.

That was a good win for Ramos.

I think you didn't understand hs question..he was asking what are you throughs in the Rico Ramos performance against Efrain Esquivias...the guy that Ramos fought right behind the loss with Rigo...Efrain was 16-0 15KO with tons of power, Ramos managed to stay out of efrain's hooks and throw a lot of combinations with give him the victory..in compubox Ramos totally outwork Efrain for surprise the fans who through Ramos will lose..
