Just let it happen guys. If everyone juices, it's an even playing field. ANyway, they're supposed to be super specimen's, better conditioned, stronger, faster than the average joe, and if taking a little PED's along with hard training does the trick, then so be it.

PED's aren't from another planet. You need food to be strong, you need water to live, you need sleep to recover, and now you need PED's to be a better performing athlete than those from generations past. FTW Science.

If everyone juices, then how will the next shady fighter get a step up? If the playing field is even and PEDs are allowed, then somehow and some way a boxer and his team are going to try and find a new, different way to cheat that none of us could even think of. Of course there are people out there trying to think of those ways right now, but if you allow PEDs to be legal, then even more people will try and find a different way to get a leg up.

New innovative ways to push your body to new peaks should not be looked down upon, but EMBRACED.

As long as you aren't cheating by putting something in your gloves, or using any kind of weapon, it's not cheating according to my standards; thus why I don't obsess with PED scandals so much anymore. Lance Armstrong is an ATG btw.

I caught some heat for saying essentially the same this morning. Not that I condone what Gamboa has apparently done, but he's far from being alone, in my opinion. It's not so simple as ostracizing a fighter. It's the world we're living in.

Fair enough, I too supported Armstrong during his time of trouble.

I just don't want athletes in general to compromise their own future health. Fame and glory is great but fleeting - but an old age of health issues and medications, and the remembrance of yourself 'back in the day' is a long time...
