"The news report about a purported relationship between Alex Rodriguez and Anthony Bosch are not true," Rodriguez said in a statement issued by a publicist. "He was not Mr. Bosch's patient, he was never treated by him and he was never advised by him. The purported documents referenced in the story -- at least as they relate to Alex Rodriguez -- are not legitimate."

If the part about Aron is not legitimate Gamboa may still prove to not be that fking ******.
This is all over the place and Im pretty sure the MLB will investigate this. If the MLB guys get away clean then that's the only way Gamboa gets a pass from me, maybe. And I say maybe cause the damage has already been done, his name will forever be linked to PEDs whether guilty or innocent.

PED's aren't from another planet. You need food to be strong, you need water to live, you need sleep to recover, and now you need PED's to be a better performing athlete than those from generations past. FTW Science.
I've been saying this for a while. There is no reliable testing protocol. The cheats elude detection for years, sometimes forever. Make it legal and level the playing field. Give everyone the same weapons. It's not ideal; but, in my opinion, it's the only practical alternative.

The biggest concern with legalizing PEDs is that children might be influenced in a negative way. And, let's face it, athletes will push the envelope and abuse the drugs they're legally taking. But as far as making things absolutely fair for all pro athletes, legalizing PEDs is currently the only solution.

        • You can't just let boxers take ped's like some of u are saying. If that were to happen, we may get to the point where guys are literally killing each other in the ring cuz guys have this extra power. If boxers start dying in the ring more regularly, boxing is done. It would be so brutal networks and sponsors won't want to touch it. U have also have to worry about lawsuits this day and age. If a fighter gets seriously injured then later finds out one of their opponents was on ped's, u will have lawsuits popping up.

Yeah but then everyone will be super hulked out and its going to be ******ed. I dont want a bunch of Brock Lesners in our sport.

Only solution is year round random testing, blood and urine. Will it be perfect, no, but it Will be a hell of alot better.

Everything seemed mickey mouse bs to me including the name pointing note but i definitively want to know tho if it's true or just some paper selling bs just the names on the list send red flags as attention whoring and Gamboa seemed thrown in there to get the attention of Cubans in Miami.

If it's true tho Gamboa can go fk himself and ive been watching him since Olympic times and he tuning pro pretty much renewed my interest in boxing saw every fight in youtube before he made it to the US but if he's dirty fk him .

              • Not surprised at all.
If I have to pick one boxer who I think is using PED based on his physique, it's Gamboa...YoROIDkis Gamboa!

Been repping the guy since the day he turned pro and this just hits hard. First fighter I considered one of my favorites that got caught cheating.

I was gonna reply to Cuban's post with something like this but here's the thing, you ALREADY got guys taking this **** against other guys who can be possibly clean. So you got a dirty fighter endangering an innocent individual.

But will we ever get to the bottom of this? Who's gonna investigate? Boxing doesn't have 1 major commission that can look into this. Who's gonna investigate? I'll just wait and see what the MLB comes up with and go from there.

I hear you about Gamboa, he's one of the few guys that makes me smile when I watch him fight (no ****). The **** he does is so natural and fluent. Plus he brings the excitement with his so called weak chin. But if he's dirty I just can't tolerate that and I'd be done with him.

Athletes lie about this stuff all the time. Lance Armstrong denied PED use for years, so did Mark McGuire, Barry Bonds, etc. The only time they flinch is if you drag them into a congressional hearing. A-Rod making that comment through his publicist means nothing, as far as I'm concerned.

Nothing's been proven yet, but why would these athletes' names appear in a handwritten notebook at this illicit clinic?
