Miguel Cotto Vs. Ricky Hatton-- Who will win???

I think Miguel Cotto has it all- Offense, Defense, Disipline and a good chin, but can he handle an animal like Hatton? Cotto's one of my most favorite fighters, but after watching the Torres fight where he was wobbled once or twice and the Corley fight when he got rocked, I'm a bit nervous. Who do y'all think will win, when they hopefully face off this year???

Ricky Hatton would win, but in a war. I think his educated pressure would be too much for Cotto

      Hatton would win.

Hatton waged war with Kostya Tszyu, & forced him to quit.

Cotto went to war with Torres, & was damn near KO'd on several
      occasions.

There's a bit (yeah, a big bit!) of difference between Tszyu & Torres, isn't there ?

Hatton would force Cotto to trade, & would batter the hell out of him.

Hatton would win IMO but it would be really fun to watch.

Hatton looks very comfortable at 140, and Cotto doesn't. I like Hatton to win at 140. Cotto needs to move to 147 before he gets KO'd at 140.

Cotto will be worn down and KO'd by Hatton if they ever fight at 140.

yeh agree with all of the above that hatton would overpower and outwork cotto who would get stunned like against torres, and get punished by a better finisher in hatton, over before the 8th round, lets just hope this fight happens!

Hatton makes everyone fight his kind of fight. He'd have an advantage (albeit not a massive one) in this fight.

I can't see Cotto standing much chance against Hatton, the Hitman. After seeing Hatton in the flesh quite a few times I can honestly say that the guy is an animal, nice guy outside the ring or not. He is constantly on the attack.

Also, I used to think his lines of attack were a bit one dimensional and that his accuracy was a bit shoddy, but seeing him recently against KT and Maussa, he's a lot more varied and accurate than I thought.

                Hatton TKO 6
