Wow, what a sore loser. Garcia completely dominated that fight. It wasn't him who complained to the referee about his nose. It wasn't him who stopped it. I've heard so many ****** comments from Salido fans tonight, I'm wondering if this is a more moronic fan base than Pacquiaos now. lolComment

mr. California, i'm not sure what you are trying to insinuate. i did not throw fists with Mikey Garcia this nochy.
for the record, Mikey put on a good show. until he and his second quit. had they not taken the unprofessional route, i may well have been commending an excellent performance and deserved victory right now. who knows, maybe Mikey would've even closed the show.Comment

i agree, it's more likely that he would've fought on in that case, because he wouldn't have been granted a title for quitting.
that's the game they're in. men have defined themselves in such circumstances. and maybe Mikey has, too.Comment

I disagree with your view. I didn't see Mikey quite at all. Never did I see him shake his head no once. I saw Robert turning to the ref to protest the headbutt. I saw the Doctor stop the fight. I saw Mikey get hit with a headbutt that was delivered so carelessly, it might have even been intentional. Maybe. Mikey said he didn't like winning like that and even preferred to win after a complete fight. Mikey even told Salido he would give him a rematch. Why should Mikey have to fight through an injury that severe over something that was done that has nothing to do with boxing? Sure headbutts happen, but they are the reason why lots of fights are stopped and go to the score cards. What's so different now? You might as well complain about every fight that was stopped due to a head but. A broken nose will cause a lack of air flow threw it, causing you to breath threw your mouth. An open mouth in boxing often leads to broken jaws. I mean, there really is no big case against stopping this fight when you think about it logically.mr. you also didn't see Mikey or his second show any interest in continuing, as championship calibre fighters typically do in those situations.
Garcia and his second gave the physician license to end the fight. 'i'm good, i can fight' or 'no, he's good, we want to fight' at some point in the proceedings would have sent out a more positive signal.
i guess i'm more inclined to give a pass in odd cases like this,
