Ok, this may come across as a Manny bashing thread but it really isn't. When people mention Manny Pacquiao they always seem to mention how humble he is. But is he or is this just a myth?

He drives around in a Ferrari. has nothing to do with being humble

Lives in a mansion. has nothing to do with being humble

Cheated on his wife numerous times. LIE Has nothing to do with being humble

Used to be involved in c**k fights. has nothing to do with being humble

Had sex with **********s. lie...has nothing to do with being humble

I'm sure people can add more to this but I just want to know if these are there things a humle man would do.

Now what a man does with his hard earned money is his business, I don't begrudge any man buying a sweet ride and living in a nice house.

Plenty of other fighters do the same things but you don't hear about them being called humble.

I remember also when he was going to fight Ricky Hatton, it was agreed upon that they would each get 50/50 split. At the last minute Pacquiao wanted more of a percentage than Hatton or the fight was off (as I remember it) Hatton conceded to Pacquiao's terms. Does it sound like something a humble man would to, a man who doesn't fight for money but for his fans?

So I ask.......what makes Pacquiao so humble? Please discuss
:AOR:heheheheheeee:AOR: you dont even know what humble means :AOR:

as a boxer, he's pretty humble, especially given what he's accomplished in the sport. he's even given bradley props after the questionable decision.

outside, he's had his share of controversies that come will money and power. it's easy to say that we wouldn't succumb to such temptations but how many of us have tons of money and even more devils whispering in our ears? take into consideration that he grew up in one omf the poorest conditions you could imagine where it's dog eat dog.

i've yet to hear from fan that he's been less than gracious to (never met him but some from family and a few friends have).

He is a humble guy in some aspects, gives a lot back. But he also is a diva in other aspects (almost cancelling the Hatton bout because of a lousy 3% PPV share that he wanted, out of the blue)

I used to not like him but after the way he gracefully handled the Bradley robbery, and especially after he shrugged off the recent KO, I have to admit that he earned a hell of a lot of respect out of me. Few of the other boxers I like have that much class in defeat.

Pacroid has never been humble, but he was just crumbled by Marquez for ducking Floyd & lying to his fans that he would take less money to make the fight. Then his humbled ass lied again about needing to heal before Floyd was sentenced to jail, but all of a sudden he's healthy to fight but not Floyd. Pac got so scared when he found out fFloyd wasn't going to jail until June that Tim Bradley beat him up. Then once Floyd beat Cotto at Cotto's true weight he ran away from $40million. Sure he's humble now because getting ktfo will do that to you. But as far as him being this nice guy that does no wrong only those dumb *******s believe that BS...Pac is as crooked as Bob Arum & they both know he would be made to look like he was fighting for the first time if they put his so called humbled ass in the ring against Floyd.

Well my relatives in the Philippines tell me Manny is really a great guy. He's always signing autographs for the kids and adults over there, he's given millions of dollars aways to help the needy, and he doesn't talk down to people. Couple that with the fact that he treats his fellow fighters with the utmost respect, I'd say he's pretty humble, to an extent.

He does in fact have a HUGE hidden ego, he's ****ed a lot of *****es in the Phillipines (got some of them *****es pregnant), Has cars on top of cars, has a big house that's alsa guarded by Philippine soldiers 24/7, was indeed involved in chicken fighting, hung out in bars a lot, smoked cigarettes, drank a lot of alcohol. But I guess it comes with the territory. Dudes just living it up.
