One thing I'll say about Teddy is that for some reason he always picks mentally weak fighters to work with. He should try training someone normal for once.

I was gonna say all fighters react differently to different coaching styles maybe he was like that with Povetkin cause that's the only way he responded tothe Teddy. Maybe ,maybe not

Teddy grew on me. I don't really care for his commentating. He makes terrible predictions. But.........he is one of the few guys in the sport that really cares about the fighters. He has hisfavorites at times but that ccan't be held against him in my book. I'm sure all these "unbiased" fans of "ropes, shoes and gloves" will dock him for that. After dealing with boxing fans and commentators the past few years, he brings a simple element thats ridiculously missing in the sport. HONESTY. I respect that.

He had a very short career as an amateur boxer so I don't think he should be so critical of fighters who have done so much. No matter how good the guys in the ring are doing Atlas always finds something wrong with the way they are fighting. I have never been impressed with his boxing knowledge.
I've read that he had 9 amateur fights of which he lost 5. And I believe that he was an unpaid amateur trainee trainer in D'Amato's gym, was sent away after the Tyson incident with the gun.....

I used to see him every Friday night, and I've always thought he was a mental case, who takes himself veeerrry seriously. He does seem to love boxing, as if it were a lifeline for him.

Hell no. His act is old. He pleads for sympathy and poses as an advocate of the sport while actually being a sociopath.
